Anime Idol
Chapter 4
Sakura Shinguji and Kenshin undergo a test of swordsmanship. They are each given a block of wood and ten seconds to carve something out of it.
The two samurais stand silently side by side in front of their blocks, concentrating. At the signal, they draw their katanas at the same time and began slashing and slicing.
Their blades are a blur, sending wood chips flying and filling the air with sawdust! At the ten-second mark, both contestants lower their katanas and sheathe them in one fluid motion.
The judges step forward to look at their sculptures. Sakura has made a delicate bonsai cherry tree while Kenshin has made a magnificent rearing horse!
The judges talk amongst themselves, unable to make a decision between the two equally beautiful sculptures. Then Kenshin politely reminds them that he used his sakabatou which means he was carving his schupture with a dull edge!
Winner: Kenshin
