Well its here the 9th month D-day its July 27th i was 3 weeks over my due
date and my doctor said i could go anytime.
Life couldn't be better for me i was about to give birth to a healthy baby and i was in love with a great guy Hunter and i have been seeing a lot of each other i go everywhere with him the doctor said i could still travel up to my due date and since i was so late i did think it would hurt to travel with him till i gave birth.
Hunter was so excited about the baby more excited then me if that's possible July 27th was a day ill never forget.
It was Hunter's 28th birthday and for once we had a off day so i decided to through him a surprise party at steph's parents house i was talking to Linda when my cell phone rang.
"Hello."
"Lisa its steph i got hunter here when do you want us there."
"Ok bring him here now tell him your dad called a emergency meeting here and he wants you and hunter here right away."
"Got it see ya there."
I hung up with steph and let everyone know that hunter was on his way and to be ready.
"Damn hunter we gotta get to my dad's right away."
"Why steph i thought we had the day off i was gonna spend it with Lisa."
"I know hunter im sorry but we gotta go you know dad hates it when were late for a meeting."
"All right let's go."
Back at the house i was in the kitchen helping marissa with Hunters cake when i got this ungodly pain.
"Ouch."
"Lisa what's wrong."
"I think im having a contraction."
"I'm gonna go get Linda."
"No rissa i m fine its gone."
"Lisa Rissa come on steph's here with hunter."
We headed out to the pool when i got another pain but this time it was more painful then the last but i just ignored it but i didn't time myself after all the doctor said i could go any day.
I could here steph talking to hunter on the way outside i was standing next to Linda and vince when hunter walked in and we all yelled surprise but i had another pain and then i felt water run down my legs i grabbed vince's arm.
"Lisa what's wrong."
"I think my water just broke."
"Ok calm down im gonna go get hunter Linda stay with her."
"Lisa here sit down."
I was in terrible pain i saw vince fly over to get hunter.
"Hunter."
"Vince hey nice meeting you really had me fooled."
"Yeah well this is really gonna kill ya Lisa's water just broke i think she's going into labor."
I could hear steph and hunter running over to me.
"Lisa are you ok."
"Do i look ok i think im going into labor you big ox's"
He couldn't help himself he just laughed we were told in Lamaze classes that this might happen i get mad and start calling him names.
"Ok lets get you in the car and to the hospital can you walk."
"Ill try."
I stood up and my legs felt like jelly so hunter picked me up and carried me to the car.
"Just get her in the car ill drive."
"Thanks Linda."
We got to the hospital and hunter checked me in and i was taking to a private room while i was in there my contraction got closer and closer together.
"Hello Lisa how are you today."
"Im fine Doctor Jennings my contractions seem to be so close together i can't even time them."
"Ok so lets have a look well your 10 centimeters dilated lets get you delivered."
"Wait where's hunter."
"Im right here Lisa."
"Nurse will you get MR. Helmsley some scrubs and then bring him into deliver room 2."
They rolled me into delivery and hooked me up to monitor i continued doing my breathing when hunter came in he looked so funny in the ugly green scrubs.
"Hunter fashion tip the green hospital scrubs there so not you."
"Oh now your being nice to me i go from being a big ox to being fashion don't."
"Im sorry but i was just on my god."
"Ok Lisa you ready to push now hunter i want you to place your hand on Lisa's back and help her ok Lisa now push and push hard."
And i did i pushed so hard it hurt.
"Come baby push."
"All right Lisa stop pushing i m gonna count to 10 and you push again but this time i want you to take an deep breath and hold it for me can you do that."
I just nodded my head."
"Big push Lisa you can do it i see the baby's head push Lisa."
"I can't i can't push anymore it hurts."
"I know hurts Lisa but your doing great."
"Yeah baby your doing great come on push push Lisa."
"I can't push anymore."
"Lisa look at me."
I look at hunter.
"You can do this i know you can now come one push for me."
So did and with one big push i could feel the baby come out of me.
"Congratulation Lisa say hello to your baby girl."
The nurse place her on my chest.
"A girl oh god she's beautiful look hunter isn't beautiful."
"Yeah she is im so proud of you I love you Lisa."
"I love you to."
A few hours later i was back in my room i must have fallen asleep cause i didn't remember leaving the delivery room when i opened my eyes i saw hunter sitting in a rocking chair with the baby.
"Hey."
"Hi how you feeling."
"Tired you look like a pro at that."
"Well im just getting know my daughter yes i am hey we gotta think of a name for this little."
"Well i was thinking of selena Marie."
"Selena Marie i like that."
The nurse came in to get the baby's name.
"So have you thought of a name for her yet."
"Yes we have Selena Marie Anderson no wait nurse can you change her last name to Helmsley."
When i looked over at hunter he was just smiling then i saw a tear run down his face.
"Hey what's wrong."
"Nothing im just happy you gave the baby my last name."
"Why wouldn't I your her father."
"And for that i couldn't be more happier."
And i was just as happy as hunter my life was going so great but i was in for a shock both my past and hunter would come back to haunt us and Selena.
