Chapter One

"She's on the move," Magneto growled, pacing the floor. "How am I going to get here? She can manipulate damn molecules! She can blow things up, Mystique. She'd blow me up in a second, or you. She had no problem with that. She has 'accidentally' murdered at least five people by now. The only people whom she hadn't murdered were the people whom were close to her- and she was close to that." Mystique looked smugly at Magneto, crossing her legs daintily as she leaned further back on his desk. Of course, you would have never known that without me, Magneto, now would you?

"But, they had betrayed her, Magneto. But if we got her to trust one of us... And make sure she is happy, we could easily maneuver her to our side," She prompted gently, plucking the report off of the table and flicking through it. It had all the basic information on Rose.

Full Name: Ethne Rose Murphy Gender: Female DOB: 10-13-86 IQ: 183 Father: Patrick Peter Murphy Mother: Iowen Margaret Brennan

It was, of course, the basics, but after she had slipped into a form more, erm, human, she easily had gotten intimate information on Rose. It was suprising Xavier hadn't already flown over there in a rush to claim the petite brunette. To Mystique's surprise, Magneto agreed in a gruff nod. "Yes. And I have just the person." He chuckled and swept out of the room. Mystique's golden eyes rolled heavens-ward for a moment, but in a languid movement, she swept off of the desk and followed after Magneto. ***

"She's on the move," Xavier grated, his thin, pale hands resting on his lap. "You need to find this girl. At the moment, she's both highly dangerous and very emotional. Already, she had killed five people," at Storm's worried expression, he quickly added, "On purpose. She had been betrayed before she left and her emotions were going haywire. Unfortunately, so where her powers- the ability to manipulate molecules. In any way she wishes." It was a grave power, and nearly everyone acknowledged it. Kurt, however, didn't see the harm. "Vhat's va problem? Zo vhe can manipvulate molecules? Zo?"

Xavier kept silence, but Orora turned to Kurt, her voice laced with patience. "It means she can do whatever she wishes with molecules- and currently, its exploding items. Or people." The last word was spewed with distaste, but she kept her serene expression and turned back to Xavier. "So how are we supposed to find her? If we approached her, we would just as easily be blood and guts as the next person."

Logan began to say, "She can't hurt me-" But Xavier quickly cut him off. "She could easily destroy your skin, organs, and brain and simply leave your adamaneum skeleton. We need someone, probably her age, to get close to her." Xavier cleared his throat. "The other problem is, Magneto is probably already alerted about this rare, unique mutant. And has already sent someone. So, we need to work fast."

Everyone looked uneasy, but Scott nodded and swirled on his heels. "I'll go fetch Bobby and Rogue." It was obvious that he didn't like the fact they had to use them, but it was the only way.
