**PASION OF THE CHRIST SPOILERS**
Disclaimer: If I owned God, the Bible, or The Passion of the Christ, the world would be in dire trouble. So, be happy that I don't.
Author's Note: Hi, all of my homepancakes! I just saw Passion today! AWESOME! UTTERLY AWESOME! I had a creative splurge about it, so what's a girl to do? Write a story about it, of course! Yes, I know. The title is a little bit corny, but that's what I thought during that particular Part of the movie, so that's why I named it that.
Ha, Ha! You Lose!
Lucifer laughed mirthlessly in his desolate home, his hood flying off to reveal an ugly, bald head. Lucifer's hollowed out, dead eyes showed happiness that they seemed to have never had since birth. The mangled skeletons here and there definitely gave a foreboding approach to Hell. The cracked and dead, sand-colored floor did nothing for the décor of the walls, or should I say canyon masquerading as a wall. He had reason to be ecstatic, though. All of his work of his life, his life, had finally paid off.
The Christ was dead.
On Earth, Jerusalem to be exact, the people were having worse fortunes. Thunder crackled and a single raindrop fell through the sky, mimicking how God felt to see his Son die. He was not happy.
In the temple, there was nothing short of an earthquake. It's fault line split right down the middle of the temple, ripping open the curtain separating God from the people.* Women fled and screamed as pieces of the ceiling came crashing down, smashing vases and containers. When the priest came and saw the damage, the high priest named Caphissas (spelling?) cried and moaned.
But none of that was really important.
Jesus was not dead, but in a limbo. His spirit had not yet gained entry to Heaven since he was born of humans, but he never sinned, so he did not belong in Hell.
A council member called Joseph of Arimathea buried Jesus's body in a cave tomb with a huge boulder rolled in front of it, so heavy that it took ten men to move. One the third day, Mary Magdalene who had been at Mount Golgotha with Mary, Jesus's mother, and John the Apostle when Jesus was crucified, came to the tomb to embalm her Teacher. What she saw in the tomb shocked and terrified her.
The boulder had been rolled away.
Jesus was gone!
Inside, the linens that Jesus were wrapped in were pure white. Mary dropped the spices she had brought with an earth-shattering crash. She ran out of the tomb, screaming, "They have taken the Lord out of his tomb! Someone stole the Lord's body!" with one thought in mind, Find Peter and John.
Once she found them, consoling Mary, Jesus's mother, she told them, "They have taken the Lord's body and I have no idea where it is!"
John took one good look at her and said, "You are speaking nonsense, Mary. Did you knock your head on the stone when you went to go see the Lord?"
"No, he isn't there! Come with me! I will show you!" Mary Magdalene replied, taking John's hand and dashed to the tomb, Mary and Peter in tow. "There!" she said as she pointed to the folded linen cloths.
"Wow," John muttered and Mary's eyes gushed again. Everyone in this tomb now believed that Jesus was not there. But where Jesus was, Mary Magdalene would soon find out.
John, Peter, and Mary (Jesus's mother) left and Mary Magdalene lingered, weeping for what seemed like hours.
And Lucifer, King of Demons, was still laughing.
A callused hand, firm, yet gentle, held Mary's chin and moved it toward the sky.
And Lucifer stopped laughing. God wasn't going down without a fight.
Mary looked into the face of Jesus, the one who she thought was dead. Mary smiled and tears of joy welled up in her. Jesus smiled back and hugged her with his literally hole-y hands to represent what he did for me. And he did it for you. And Mary. And the other Mary. And John. And Peter. He did it for everyone in this world. Because he loves us.

A/N: DUUUUUUUUUUDE! I LOVE THIS STORY! TO DEATH! Review please.
*There was this room where only the high priest could go into once a year. This room had an alter and the tabernacle, which is the Ten Commandments. It was supposed to have the presence of God in it and God couldn't touch anything unholy.
