I was sitting in the waiting room of the ER when shane Stephanie and lita
came running in i didn't even notice Shane standing there till i felt his
hand on my shoulder.
"Lisa."
I looked up to see him there but i couldn't keep the tears inside i stood up and shane took me in his arms and held me and that's when it all hit me this huge wave of terrifying emotion came flooding over me.
"It's ok honey let it out let it out."
"Oh shane i can't believe this is happening."
"It's ok Hunter's gonna pull through this have the doctor's told you anything."
I just shook my head no.
"No Shane please don't leave me please just hold me don't leave me alone."
"Of course i won't leave you come on let's go sit down i'm sure the doctor will get us when they know something."
Shane lead me over to some chairs and sat down next to me and kept his arms around me i started to calm down shane handed me a tissue and i wiped my eyes.
"So do you wanna tell me what happened."
"Well selena called the house and said she was in a apartment by central park so i went to the central park apartment and i showed Selly and Joan's picture to the gentlemen at the desk and he said that Joan was there with selly so i called hunter back at the house and told him she was here with selly the man took me upstairs and there she was i went into the room and i could hear selly crying so i found her in the bedroom tied up to the bed i was about to leave with her when Joan was standing at the door with a gun she told me i made her life miserable that's when we heard hunter banging on the door she let him he told me to get out and get selena out of there i got her out but i went and that's when i found him she shot him she said that if she couldn't have him no one could then she put the gun in her mouth and killed herself."
I started to cry again shane just put his arms around me and held me steph came in with the doctor i shot up out of my chair and went over to him.
"Doctor is hunter all right."
"He suffered alot of blood lose he was shot 3 times once in the shoulder once in the stomach and once in the chest the one in the chest was the worst one it went straight through and exited out his back."
"Doctor what are you saying."
"The next 48 to 72 hours are critical we just have to wait after the 48 to 72 hours if he wakes up he'll make a full recovery."
"But what if he doesn't wake up what will happen."
"Its to early to tell we just have to wait."
"Can i see him."
"Sure but only for a few minutes."
The doctor took me to a room when i walked in i was in shock the doctor walked me over to the bed.
"Not to long miss we have to get Mr. helmsley in to surgery."
I nodded my head i took hunter's hand in mine and sat down in the chair next to his bed i could hear his breathing and the machine monitoring his heartbeat beeping i just keep holding his hand i brought it up to my face and held it close to my cheek.
"I'm so sorry that your here like this fighting for your life i should have listening to you and waited but i couldn't i had to get our daughter i should be the one laying here not you god why didn't i just listen why did i have to be so stubborn i m so sorry baby this is all my fault this my fault."
"No Lisa its not your fault."
"Mr. Mcmahon."
"It's not your fault that he's here it's Joan's fault but she'll never be punished for it she took her own life and that was no one fault but her own you did everything you could to protect your child and hunter."
"But it wasn't enough if i had just listened to hunter he wouldn't be here now we would be home with our daughter not here where he's fighting to stay alive."
I just broke down Mr. Mcmahon put his hand on my shoulder i turned around and buried my face in his chest.

"Im sorry but we need to take Mr. Helmsley down to the operating room."

"Ok then ill go home to your place and bring you back some fresh clothes how's that sound."

"I think im gonna stay here with Lisa and keep her company you go on ahead son and keep an eye on your sister and mother."
