A/N: I don't own Cowboy Bebop. I wish I did. I only own Jeanette, Nathaniel, and Natalia Spiegel...and some of the OCs that will appear at random moments.

The Mysterious Truths

The girl sighed and pushed her goggles up. She had managed to get lost her first day of school. She was supposed to be finding someone named Natalia S., but so far, nobody had been around to help her. Even the green- haired person sitting on a bench nearby reading a book hadn't been much help.

Suddenly, a gang of what appeared to be the usual meat-heads began to surround the person. As the girl watched, one of them yanked the book out of the person's hands and sneered.

"Whassa matter? Looking at a picture book cause you can't read?" the other guys laughed at what their leader said. The person calmly stood up, revealing that they were at least four inches taller than the jock.

"May I have my book back? I need it for class." The person's voice was that of a young woman. The jock sneered again and shoved the girl down.

"After I see it." He flipped through the pages quickly, and then threw the book into the bushes. The girl stood up again. "What was that trash? Why don't you just go back to the gutter you came from? Nobody wants you here, ya street scuz. Your mamma was a who-OOOF!" Suddenly, the jock was wheezing, and on his knees. The girl began to calmly walk away, when the rest of the gang closed in on her.

For the next few minutes, all the first girl could see of the tall girl was a hodge-podge of fists and various jock body parts. Suddenly, the principle came out and quickly separated the fighting people.

"Miss Spiegel! What in blazes?!" The tall girl frowned, and the first girl stepped forward.

"Please sir, she was provoked! That one," Here, the girl pointed to the jock on the ground, who was still doubled over, "Took her book and threw it in the bushes. All she did was knock the wind out of him a little, and was going to go get her book when the rest of them trapped her." The principle looked a little surprised at this.

"Well then...Miss Spiegel, I suggest you leave for the rest of the day." The green-haired girl smiled a little.

"Sir, I'm only here one block of the day. I was waiting for someone named Francis Appleberry, when Mr. Bartholomew chose to incite an incident." The first girl's eyes widened.

"I'm Francis Appleberry!" Natalia smiled a little bit and casually slipped her arm around Francis's shoulders.

"Well then, why are we hanging around here for? I'm supposed to escort you to class!" Natalia smiled and gently guided the very confused Francis away from the school.

A/N: Woo...I have got a lot of ideas for this story. Yes, I know this *pokes the chapter* is kinda confusing, but it will all start to make sense...eventually...

*Natalia* Confusing is right...even I have no clue what's going on...
