-Airport- "oh bye ray!" Mariah said while wrapping her arms around him tightly, ray didn't complain, cause he was holding her just as closely. Kai did not like this picture at all, he wanted ray to get on the plane and leave as soon as possible. Taylor gave ray a quick hug, and Tala just nodded to him, and ray nodded back. Ray was about to go but instead he walked in front of Kai.
"well, see you in a while arch rival!" he grinned while shaking his hand. Kai gave a small smile and shook his hand also. Tyson, Hilary and a sulking Kenny were also there to say goodbye to Ray, even though he was only there for 3 days. Kenny, had just found out Taylor kissed Tala, and they had broken up because Taylor refused to end it when Kenny had asked her to.
-End Of Airport- A New Day-
"Oh no! Why didn't someone wake me up? I totally late for school!" Mariah screamed at the top of her lungs while jumping out of bed and frantically trying to get dressed for her first day at her all girls school with Taylor. And after Taylor had begged, Kai's aunt got Tala a place in Kai's prep school too.
Taylor awoke from her slumber at Mariah's scream. 'wha???' was all she could choke out. Tala woke up early, so being the soldier he was, he was up doing press ups. Kailena awoke....then fell back asleep, and aunt Louise thought nothing of it. Kai had immediately headed to Mariah's room as soon as he heard her remark.
"Mariah, can I come in?" he asked while knocking on the door.
"ur, wait till I get this skirt on.....okay, come in!" she called.
Kai couldn't help but smirk inwardly to himself, she looked a mess. Her hair was half tied, her buttons were done up wrong, her tie was all over the place, and she was wearing odd socks.
"Mariah, how....why....." Kai had no idea where to start.
"Kai, why aren't you dressed? This is our first day and look, its already 10:00am!" she huffed. Kai looked at her alarm clock and sighed.
"Mariah, that times wrong, its only 7:40am, we have an hour yet!" he smirked.
Mariah blushed, how foolish she must've looked.
"well, I'll get ready now to save time later, why don't you sort yourself out, and you and I can have breakfast together." He walked out, closing the door behind him, obviously, she had no choice!
About fifteen minutes later, Mariah was sorted out, and the uniform definitely suited her. She had a pink skirt, with a cream blouse and pink boots, but her black tie was still a mess, and for some reason but she hadn't noticed, she just brushed her vanilla scented hair and platted it with her ribbon. (which was washed several times after Tala used it.) she smiled at herself in the mirror and went downstairs for some much needed breakfast. Kai was already downstairs with breakfast laid out for them both. Mariah, Taylor and Tala had been staying with Kai for 3 days now, so the cooks knew what to make them, but it was so early only Kai and Mariah's breakfast was laid out yet. Mariah starred at Kai's uniform and smiled. (same uniform as V-force.) he had a green blazer, a short sleeved shirt and a tight red tie with black trousers. (I didn't like the grey ones! XD) but what REALLY got her attention was the fact that his face paint was gone, now his full features were more apparent. Kai felt eyes on him so he turned to face Mariah, he felt sort of embarrassed at first, until he noticed that she still looked a mess. He walked up to her and put his hands on either side of her face. Mariah froze slightly while Kai's hands slid down her face and past her neck and rested on her shoulders. He sighed and did her tie up properly; Mariah looked down and groaned inwardly. She had forgotten her tie! ^^'''
Mariah blushed as Kai walked to the large dining room table and sat down to eat two fried eggs on toast, sausages, and plum tomatoes. Mariah had a stack of pancakes covered in sugar, and a couple of boiled eggs. While they were eating aunt Louise's butler walked in and placed a dish of scrambled eggs on toast on the table alongside Kai. Of coarse it was Tala's, because that was his usual. Most mornings Kai and Tala would wake early and have their breakfast together, then Mariah, Taylor, Kailena and aunt Louise would then come down to have theirs. Tala then walked in wearing the same uniform as Kai, minus the blazer. He then sat down in silence and ate his breakfast. And he was followed by Taylor, wearing a blue version of what Mariah had. Tala looked at Taylor with a blush brimming in his cheeks as he tried not to make eye contact. Since they'd been there, Taylor and Mariah were too busy un packing in there new rooms, so Taylor paid little attention to him. But now they had finished yesterday, perhaps she'd pay more attention to him, after all, he did leave bio-volt to support her. And she broke up with that geek laptop boy who helped the Bladebreakers for him.
Taylor sat down next to Mariah, and as soon as she did, Albert brought in her crumpets, and waffles and she immediately began tucking in.
"morning Taylor." Mariah said while looking at her piggish cousin eat.
"g'mornig Mariah!" she said between mouthfuls of food.
"why up so early?"
"y' woke me up with your screaming!" she said while swallowing.
"morning Kai." She said, Kai just nodded.
"morning Tala, you had a nice night, right?" Tala blushed a deep crimson colour. She had that effect on him. Then aunt Louise walked in with a smile plastered on her face.
"ya'll woke up early, didn't ya! Well Kailena wont be joinin' you, she's still asleep, and her schooling, doesn't start till 9:00, so I decided to let her sleep." She smiled why walking up to Mariah.
"hey Mariah, you n Kai might have a few lessons together, init great?" she smiled.
"that's not right, were going to an all girls school."
"yeah, which is right beside Kai's prep school, the girls have a few separate lessons, as do the boys, but you have certain lessons like art, and history together, and the same goes for break and lunch! I had this all checked out! The closer you too get, the closer that dream wedding gets!" she giggled while leaving the room. Mariah looked at Kai with a puzzled look. He just shrugged.
-School-Arrival-
the limo stopped at two separated school gates, one leading to the girls high school, and the other leading to the boys. Mariah smiled at Kai while saying goodbye as she entered the gates of the girls school, while Taylor kissed Tala on the cheek as she skipped up to Mariah. Kai felt a ping of jealousy, he got a smile, Tala got a kiss. Kai really did need to find out were he stood between him and Mariah. He and Tala both headed in the prep school.
"hmm, my school map says to go left." Tala said aloud while leaving Kai. Kai wandered through the school halls past three other boys.
"hey,aren't you Kai?" asked Wyatt.
-Girls-School-
luckily, Mariah and Taylor were in all the same classes, which meant they could stick together. Mariah and Taylor eventually found their science class, the girls all had various colours of the uniform Mariah and Taylor were wearing. But they all reminded Mariah, of one thing she hated....cheerleaders! All of them were fussing with make up and adding fructis gel to their hair. It made Mariah feel sick. While Taylor mingled with some normal looking girls. Mariah was just thinking about Kai, and how she longed to see him. They lived together now, which meant she could see him all she liked, and all she needed to do was wait until lunch to see him. Taylor then called Mariah over.
"Hey Mariah, come meet Ceilia!"
"Oh, um, hi Ceilia." Mariah said nervously to the blue eyed girl, who had long light blue hair.
"Hey, I know you....from the White Tigers, right? I'm a big fan!" she smiled.
"Yeah? can you blade?"
"Oh coarse! Not as good as you though, I think you'll find that although everyone here can blade, they'd be no match for you!....well, maybe...no!" she stopped to blush.
"What is it? Did someone come to mind?"
"Just a boy I like....called Wyatt. I think he's really good, but the trouble is, he's obsessed with blading, he problebly doesn't even know I exist." She mumbled.
"Well then we'll help you make him notice!" Taylor chirped before Mariah could stop her.
"Right Mariah? After all, if I can get Tala and you can get Kai, anything's possible!"
"You mean, Mariah of the white tigers, is dating Kai from the Blade Breakers? How cool!"
-Lunch-
Taylor went in the dinner hall and sat beside Tala talking about what had happen so far. For a quiet boy, Tala had a lot to say, partly because he had never been to a school before, it was all new to him. Kai spotted Mariah leaving the dinner hall and ran up to her outside.
"Mariah? Something wrong?" he asked.
"no, why would something be wrong?"
"you left the dinner hall, aren't you hungry?" he asked, sounding more concerned then he'd like to. Mariah gave him a warm smile.
"I'm fine Kai, I ate a lot this morning, and I...I don't like being around so many people, that's all. So I thought I'd take a walk around these woods." She said while looking towards the area covered in a mass of trees.
"I'm not much for crowded places either, I'll take that walk with you, because I need to talk to you.....what's that?" he began, till he noticed something pinned to Mariah's bag.
"oh great! A kick-me sign?" she sighed. And Kai took it off and handed it to her. She unfolded the paper and read it out aloud.
'Mariah, come behind the bike shed at lunch, I challenge you to a beybattle, It you win, you can keep your reputation and pride as a champion, And if I win, you have to become my girlfriend.
Blake.'
"Who's Blake!?" Kai asked it a sort of angered tone. He had finally got rid of ray, only to have him replaced?
"I have no idea who this Blake guy is." Mariah sighed.
