Summary: Andros and Ashley have a little talk.
Author Notes: This takes place in the episode "From out of nowhere part 2." If I was writing the story, this is how I would have had this scene go. Disclaimer: I don't own anything. If I did the show would be come a series on the WB or something.
She's Gone
Andros laid on his back fixing some computers in the Bridge. In his mind he was going over what he was going to do to get Zordon back after he sent the Earthlings home. Once or twice the new girl called Ashley would flash into his mind. Andros...you're not supposed to be attracted to her. She'll be gone soon...so think about something else.
Andros: Deca...set the space shuttle for earth.
Sounds that meat the computer was following orders was heard. Andros began to start planning once again until he heard the door open. He took one quick glance to see that it was Ashley and then went back to work n the computers. When she started walking over to him he decided to brake the unbearable silence.
Andros: The space shuttles ready to go. It's programmed to take you home.
Ashley: What about you? I mean...don't you ever go home?
Andros: To KO35? No.
Andros had finished his work and was becoming paranoid and uncomfortable with her standing over him. When he went to stand up she reached out a hand to him. He looked at her hand and gave a small smile in return and continued up ignoring her hand. She left her hand out till he was standing next to her. He could feel her eyes burning into his back. He began to press buttons on the computer keypad. Suddenly he felt her move closer to him.
Ashley: You don't like accepting help from others do you?
She said this in a gentle none judgmental way. He didn't look at her, but she knew he was hiding something.
Ashley: you can tell me.
Andros looked up at her only for a split second before he looked back at the keypad. He replied in what was almost softer than a whisper,
Andros: The last time someone helped me...they...died.
He looked her in the eye.
Andros: so o I don't like accepting help from others.
He turned his gaze back to the keypad when the main door opened he turned to walk up to the others who had just entered, taking a quick glance making eye contact for a second with the one called Ashley.
Andros: you have fuel and supplies. Enough to get you back to earth.
TJ: thanks...and good luck.
TJ extended a hand to shake with Andros: Andros looked at it a while and quickly shook his hand. The rangers form earth called TJ, Cassie, and Carlos walked into the elevator. Ashley walked slowly keeping eye contact with him. As soon as she stepped inside the elevator Andros sent out a command.
Andros: Take them to the space port.
The door shut and they were gone...she was gone.
