Aragorn relaxed when he realized it was just Arwen. He eyes were soft and gentle as they melted through his skin. But he pulled himself together.
Mani naa essa en lle? (What are you doing?), Aragorn asked. Mankoi naa lle sinome? (Why are you here?).
The same reason you are, she whispered to him.
I..... We should not be here. Would you like me to walk you back?
Estel, you know just as well as I do that we cannot stay apart for long. We'll just have to let my father figure that out the hard way. Aragorn sighed. He reached out and slid his hands up and down her shivering arms. Nae saian luume' (It has been too long).
Too long since what?
Since this, she said as she planted a kiss on his lips. She pulled away, leaving Aragorn speechless. But he smiled all the same and added, Arwen, you hardly gave me any time, and pulled her into him, kissing her with passion and depth.
Did that please you, lirimaer (lovely one)?
Of course.
Aragorn walked to the edge of the canopy of trees and gazed around at Rivendell.
To think this was once my home. I don't have a home anymore.
But you do! You are the king of Gondor, Estel. How can you not know where you belong?
I do. I just sometimes wish this was still my home.
Arwen nodded. Sometimes I do too.
They stood there in silence for a few moments, watching the rain fall. Then, a huge crash of thunder shook Aragorn from his thoughts. He looked down at Arwen. She was looking at him, too. Then, she smiled, and turned away.
Khila amin (follow me)! she cried, as she ran into the forest.
Arwen, don't! Please, don't do this!
But she was already deep into the thick forest.
**********************************************************
It was very dark. The only light was from the occasional bursts of lightening overhead.
Finally, Aragorn could see Arwen ahead. He ran up to her and grabbed for her arm. He missed, but she slid her hand into his anyway. The rain had slowed down a little by now. It wasn't so painfully hard anymore.
No one will find us here, Estel. It's just you and I.
Arwen, we can't.
What will happen when you leave again. Will you regret not giving me a farewell gift?
He sighed, but then smiled and nodded.
I would regret it with all my heart.
She took a step towards him, snuggling up against his chest.
Lle naa vanima (You are beautiful), he whispered in her ear.
She smiled, and pushed herself closer.
Aragorn reached around her body, sliding her right strap off her shoulder, exposing her breast.
She shrugged, letting the dress fall to her ankles. She bend forward and slid her tongue into his mouth. She touched the soft skin under his tongue with lust.
As she pulled away, she inched her hands up his shirt, pulling it over his head and letting it fall to the ground.
She could sense his muscles were tense.
Just drop your guard, Estel. Who is here to stop you?
Just myself, he said bitterly.
Just loose track of all that you know. Just for once. And gently she let her fingers slide his pants onto the grass. He took a deep breath, and dragged his hands down from her neck, stopping at her breasts. He let his tongue lick them longingly. She shivered as he kissed her neck.
She felt every muscle along his chest and arms, feeling them loosen as she laid her gentle fingertips on them. She began to feel dizzy with passion, and she slid down a tree to the ground.
He bent over her, laying his lips on her cheek for a long time, until she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him onto the ground with her.
He laughed, and touched her womanhood, burning her with pleasure. She wrapped her leg around the inside of his. She fell forward to give him a small kiss, but he pulled her in deeper.
I love you so much, Arwen, he said.
She loved to hear those words from him. They were so powerful.
I love you, Estel. I love you. I do.
She moaned as he melted into her like hot wax.
The rain was still beating down on them, soaking them. Aragorn moved his fingers through Arwen's wet hair. She closed her eyes and whined softly as he pulled away from her and stood up.
No, don't stop, she whispered, with her eyes still shut tight.
I have to, he said. I'm tired.
Then rest, she said. I would wake you up in the morning.
I know you would, he sighed. I have a feeling I will not be here much longer. I need to sleep well, because I know I will not have much time for that after I leave. I'll be back to visit you.
Lle vesta (Do you promise)?
Amin vesta (I promise).
Aragorn grabbed his love's hand, and together they walked in the pouring rain.
