Miroku shifted against the hut. Staring up at the sky...the black sky,or the balck hole. Just like the wind tunnel.
"Damnit! I can't think of the thing now, we're almost there. We need to defete Naraku. For more reasons then one." The wind tunnel had gotten bigger over the last while. 'But what if I don't make it? It's going to swollow me hole one of the days.Unless we get to him first.'
He gazed down sadly towards the prayer beads. 'Dieing to kill the one who will kill me. That's a first. At least they'll all finish their journey's.' Miroku wanted to trade places with any of them. So peaceful, sleeping. "Their reasons....I can understand them. Almost all equal. In a way..."'In a way, I pitty Lady Sango. Having her family killed before her eyes. Now, her brother being pitted against her.'

She looked around the room, noticing one bed empty, she stood to leave. "Where'd he go?" She heard mumbling around the corner. 'Please don't make it a demon,' She grabbed Harikatsu just in case. 'Now where'd he go?'
"Naraku...I'm starting to think he'll win this after all."
"Miroku?" She whispered.
The monk turned to her, surprised. 'I thought they were all asleep.' "Did I wake you, Lady Sango?"
"No, no you didn't. But what are you doing out here?"
"Merely enjoying the fresh air and the night sky....."
"And thinking about your hand?" She asked, knowing that she was right.
"And how it will swollow me one day, hai," Sango looked down sadly, "It's just a little depressing sometimes."
Sango nodded, as she lowered Harikatsu. "Gomen, I shouldn't have asked if it troubled you so."
"No, you did nothing wrong. No need to be sorry." She walked over to the place next to him and took a seat beside him. Leaning into his shoulder, Sango yawned.
"Miroku?"
"Hn?"
"Do you think—" She cut off, and looked towards the forest.
"Do I think that what?"
"Do you think everything will be okay in the end?"
"I don't know, Sango. I really don't know." She nodded sleepily and closed her eyes. Miroku sighed.
