The sand bit at her skin, her already frail body damaged more. The sand storm was picking up, covering her. She struggled against the wind. Sand stinging her eye's as she screamed, cursing as blood from the stratches on her dripped down slowly. She fell down, crawling on the sand, it got in to the cuts on her hand's. She screamed louder, she could see a figure in the sands. It seemed unaffected by the raging sand. She fell onto her back as the figure stood over her. It reached out to her.
"Atem.......?" the girl asked. Reaching towards him. He took her hand but instantly let her fall hard back upon the scratching sand. His face changed, she screamed again and picked herself up. The sand still whipped around her like a vortex, but the blue sky was gone, in its place blackness covered her. Inclosing her, still struggling she crawled to where light was. Reaching out for it, her last hope for humanity. Something hit her hard and she fell back onto her back. The figure stood over her again. She grimanced as it bent down and felt her aching side. It pulled her hair from her face, its cold finering her cheek. She rolled away, gasping for breath.
~Darkness will win~
She could hear a voice in her mind, the pain made her bend over, she threw up on the black ground, the sand still inclosing her. She fell back, she could still hear the voice in the back her mind. She had to tell him, warn him, stop him!
~Do not try to fight it, the affort will kill you anyway~
The voice was there again. Fresh in her mind. Blood trickled down her face. She gathered her breath.
"I can't stop now! Stop it, he will beat you!" The figure slapped her, again he stood over her. He reached for her neck, for one fleeting instant she believed he was going to strangle her. But he pulled something off her harshly, his face falling into the light.
"Bakura?" the girl gasped. Bakura took her necklace. The Millinium ring. She reached hopelessly for it, striking out to stop him. She pushed him down, struggling with him. But it was no use, she was too weak. She fell back, the blood dripping into her eye's. He stood up, holding the Millinium ring like a trophy. The sand died away and Bakura fell to his knees. She watched him quiver as the millinium ring seemingly melted away. a grey entity misting from him.
"Demons." she whispered as she saw black.

"ATEM!" Toiri howled, her shoeless feet painfully striking the hard ground as she burst into the council. Atem looked up, his young face in a seemingly angered expession.
"Toiri! What brings you here?" he asked, watching as Toiri made a quick bow before him.
"Yuni was found!" the pharoahs face lit up, Toiri quickly establised the problem, "But not alive. She was found next to a boy called Bakura. The Millinium ring is gone." Atem stood up, the priests before him silent with worry.
"This Bakura boy." Atem said, making his way towards Toiri, "Is he alive?"
"Yes, Atem. But not in a fit condition to speak of anything he may of seen." Atem and Toiri making their way to where a man was tending the boy called Bakura.
"How do you know his name is Bakura?"
"Because-because," Toiri stuttered, she did not want to reveal her sister's secret that Yuni had been seeing Bakura "I have seen him around. His companions call him that!" The man tending the boy bowed and backed out of the room. Beside the sleeping boy was a young girl.
"Yuni." Atem said bluntly. The girl's wild black hair was flecked with sand and blood. Her eye's closed tightly as if in a bid to defend herself. Atem would of done anything to of seen her eyelashes move, or even a flinch from her. But with no avail, he turned to Toiri.
"Does Bakura have any relatives to tend to him?"
"No." Toiri said, she watched helplessly as tears streamed down the pharoah's face.
"Then bring the servants and have them tend him. When he awakes get them to feed and clothe him. If his able to talk, come find me." Toiri nodded, she sat next to the boy. His beauty great as his slept in a dreamless sleep.
Hour later the boy's eyes opened, Toiri asleep by his side. The servants had left. Bakura sat up, his head swimming in thoughts. His eye's took in the vision. The room was small and the heat was thankfully limited. The young sleeping girl slept silently, occasionly mumbling. Her eye's opened only minutes after his.
"Hello." she greeted him. He stared at her as he had forgotton how to speak.
"H-hello." he stuttered, "where am I?"
"You'd be in the house of the Pharoah. He has given me strict orders to call the servants once you awake." Toiri turned to go as the boy said:
"Don't go yet. What is your name?"
"Toiri." the boys face still expressionless. "Said To-I-Ree!" he nodded, smiling, then the plain experession returned.
"And what is my name, Tor-I-Ree?" the boy asked, careful to pronouce her name correctly. Toiri looked shocked.
"Can you not remember anything?" The boy merely shook his head.
"Your name is Bakura. Now, Bakura, I must fetch the servants or you risk forgetting the little I have taught you." A shadow crept in as Toiri exited the room. The shadow slipped easily by the dead girls body and sat down beside Bakura.
"Who are you?" Bakura asked.
"Your friend." The figure replied, it took the hood of it's robe off. The boy beneath it had shocking green eye's and pale skin. His light golden hair had decidedly settled itself just above his ears.
"How do I know you can be trusted?"
"Bakura." The boy smiled dangerously, "The Pharoah has already killed your sister-" the boy motioned to the dead girl, unaware that the girl was actaully Atem's sister "-He killed your family, what is the chances he will let you escape. Join me, my friend, and we can become rich beyond your wildest dreams." Bakura looked confused.
"How? You are either born rich, or born poor."
"Not nessarily, Bakura, there is a way of making money without even trying. Tomb robbing!" Bakura looked at the lifeless girl as he could hear the servants and Toiri returning. He glanced back at the boy, his mind torn.
"Where is he?" Toiri asked herself outloud. Bakura was gone, his bed empty. The servants started to chatter.
"Be quiet!" Toiri turned, as Atem entered. She and the servants bowed to Toiri's older brother.
"He is gone isn't he?" Atem said, "A boy in a black robe entered here and he must of taken him. But why?"
"A black robe?" a woman Atem's age entered the chamber, "He must be a tomb robber. I bet he has conflicted Bakura's mind into believing he is a tomb robber and that Yuni, was his friend or someone close and was killed by you and he was next." Monaveil bowed to the Pharoah, who was, secretly by now getting tired of all this bowing. Monaveil was Atem's closest and dearest friend. He could depend on her psysic power any time.
"If I was a tomb robber where would I go?" Toiri asked. Atem and Toiri seemingly read each others minds.
"Father's tomb!" Atem said.
