OK my muse has been giving me hints at stories lately and this is the first one I actually wanted to write down….I hope you enjoy it. And just because I cant write anything without a little romance, even though it wont happen in the first chapter, I own no one but Alexis.
*Soda's POV*
"I just don't get this stuff." I said closing the book and sighing. Alexis opened my book again reading over the part we were reviewing
"Soda its easy, you just gotta take it slow and try not to
get distracted…" She said explaining it to me for the tenth time that day
"Alex I just cant do this, I might as well give up, Its not worth it."
"Soda this was your idea, you wanted to surprise everyone and you cant do that if you quit now. I sighed again knowing she was right.
"Fine…its just hard." She smiled a little and pushed the book in front of me again
"I know its hard, but the more you work at it the easier it'll get." I nodded before scrambling to hide the books in front of me as we heard the front door open and Pony's voice coming towards the room.
"Hey Soda…what's going on?" I looked at Alex nervously
before spotting some paperwork I had gotten from my boss at the DX
"Oh…I was just, talking to Alex about this…and explaining what went on down at
work…she was wanting a job…and I was helping…"
"Oh…that's just like you Soda, always being nice to everyone." I sighed relived as Pony left the room again, content with my story
"That was close…if he found out what I was doing he'd just
make a big deal out of it and I don't want that." Alex nodded as we pulled the
books out again
"Yea, I think it would be better for them to be surprised in the end." She
replied as we got back to work.
Ok I know….this chapter sucked, but I wanted to get the story started without really giving anything away…well maybe not too much away…but I really do hope you all enjoyed it. I'll write another chapter soon. I promise this time. PLEASE REVIEW!!!
