Chapter 1
Harry was called to be a witness at the trial for Sirius's death. He was a witness against the one bitch who killed his godfather. He wanted to do anything to get her in prison, anything. She had been caught by Mad-Eye Moody. Harry felt a pang of gratitude to the famous auror. HE hated her and this was the only way to get revenge without being severely punished.
He was waiting in the court room with the audience waiting for the prosecution lawyer to show up. No one knew who it was or anything. Whoever it was was very late for this trial.
"Where is she?" Fudge exclaimed. "Doesn't she know today is the day?"
"Actually Minister, she doesn't," Percy Weasley said. "You told me not to go tell her personally, but to send an owl to her instead. I tried to tell you that she isn't allowed to receive owls after she was banished, but you wouldn't have any of it."
"WELL GO GET HER! I DON'T CARE IF SHE'S SLEEPING OR ANYTHING! GET HER HERE NOW!" Percy apparated out of the court room and minutes later returned to the court room with a tired woman.
"What in the hell was so important to bring me here you prat?" she said while rubbing her eyes. She pulled up her blonde hair and put on some glasses. She looked familiar to Harry. Sitting next to him was Remus and Harry heard him gasp.
"Where am I? Oh no, I SWEAR I haven't tried to get back into the country for at least ... 8 years." Remus chuckled and looked at the Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. They all smiled.
Fudge rolled his eyes. "We know that. You are called here to be the prosecution lawyer in the case Black vs. Black. You did get our information, didn't you?"
"Yes I got it. Tell me though, why me? Last time I checked I was banned out because I was a 'horrible little liar' and I shouldn't put my nose where it didn't belong. You hated how I stuck up for Mr. Black and told you he was innocent 15 years ago. Why the sudden change of heart?" she asked.
"Because Anastasia, we have come to the conclusion that you were in fact, correct. I'm sorry that we denied you but there really was very little evidence for your claims," Fudge said.
"So, you want me to do this for you? What makes you think that I'm going to do this for you? What makes you think I'm going to forgive 15 years of being banished when I didn't do anything?"
Fudge smiled. "If you don't do this, you won't get your citizenship back. We all know how much you want to see your nephew." The woman glared at him.
"Fine." With a flick of her wand, she had magically put on formal robes, much unlike the pajamas she had on before. She put her hair up in a French twist and set up her briefcase. She put the glasses back on and magically put some makeup on. She sat down to let the court procedure continue.
"Well, now that everyone is here, let the trail commence."
Madam Bones sat up and cleared her throat. "Will the defense please state their name?"
"Bellatrix Black being defended by Judas Malfoy."
"Will the prosecution please state their name?"
"The deceased Sirius Black being defended by Anastasia Potter." Harry's breath caught in his throat. He stared at the woman. Potter?! Was she related to him? No. He didn't have any family. They were all dead. He looked up at Remus who was very carefully avoiding his gaze. He looked up at Dumbledore who also was avoiding his gaze.
"Mr. Malfoy, you may call your first witness." Madam Bones stated.
"Thank you Madam Bones. I would like to call..." The trail went on for hours until it was Harry's turn.
"I would like to call," Anastasia stared at the paper. She gracefully regained her composure. "I would like to call Mr. Harry James Potter to the stand." The audience watched Harry as he walked up to the stand. Harry caught her eye and she smiled slightly at him.
"Mr. Potter, do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help you Merlin?" a court official asked him.
"I do."
"Sit down, please." Harry sat and Anastasia stood up an leaned on the table.
"Hello Mr. Potter."
"Hello."
"Now, please tell us your side of all this." Harry told him everything from when he reached the Ministry to when Sirius died to when Voldemort vanished with Bellatrix. Anastasia had tears in her eyes at the end of the story. Bellatrix was smiling like a maniac.
"You're sure that's what happened?"
"Yes."
"Thank you Mr. Potter," she turned to the other lawyer. "Your witness." Malfoy knew she had him there. He shook his head to indicate he didn't need to question him. Clearly the Malfoys were outshined in everything by the Potters, Harry thought.
"Mr. Potter, you step down."
Malfoy leaned over to Bellatrix and had a short meeting. "The defense rests."
"Well, if your sure, then the Wizengamot will meet for out decision," Fudge said. They all filed out of the stands and into a secret room. Aurors took their places into escorting Bellatrix into a cell where she would be guarded.

2 hours went by until the Wizengamot came back in and Bellatrix was brought back.
"The Wizengamot finds the defendant guilty of all charges. The punishment id of death." Bellatrix suddenly wasn't smiling anymore. Harry looked shocked and so was Anastasia.
"I was under the understanding that the crime wasn't under death. Her other crimes weren't punishable by death either," she said.
"Well, that's true but it was our decision-"
"Were you the one who made up the law? No? So you have to enforce them. I know that this ight be difficult for you considering that the Ministry has a soft spot for *conviently* forgetting laws. This is a reputation that I know you want to keep up but do try to follow them. I was under the impression that she had to serve time in Azkaban for life," Anastasia said. Remus was trying in vain not to laugh. Harry was smiling. If she was related to him, he could see them getting along very well.
"Yes, well, that's true. Fine her sentence is life in Azkaban," Fudge grudgingly said. "Court dismissed."
