Chapter 2

After the trial, everyone that lived at Number 13 Grimmauld Place for the summer returned. Harry, Ron, and Hermione went and sat at the kitchen table. Members of the Order talked quietly in the room connected to the kitchen. They all sat close together talking about something. The three teens sat silently trying to pick up anything but the grownups were quicker. They stayed very quiet.

There was a quiet knock on the door. Mrs. Weasley went and answered the door. They all heard the door open and two squeals were let out. Dumbledore opened the swinging door to the kitchen and smiled at everyone there. Mrs. Weasley entered with someone behind her. Harry couldn't see who it was because just as the door opened, the members of the Order crowded around the door.

"I haven't seen you in years."

"How are you doing?"

"You look amazing."

"I am so sorry for not believing you."

Things of this nature were heard for at least five minutes. Harry really wanted to know who was there causing so much attention. Dumbledore separated himself from the mob and walked over to the trio. Harry sent him a questioning look but Dumbledore just winked at him. Never likes to give a straight answer does he, Harry thought.

"People, please, I'm very happy to see you all too. I would like to be able to breathe though. It is something I have grown quite fond of," a woman's voice said. The crowd parted like Moses parting the Red sea. Harry just stared at her. It was Anastasia Potter.

"Well, thank you for that. It is much appreciated. Now where are Harry, Hermione, and the rest of the red-headed freaks?" she said with a smile. Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, and Percy came out of no where.

"We're not freaks. You're the only blonde in this room," Bill said while giving her a hug.

"Yeah, last time I checked there were 10 of us, if you count Tonks, with red-hair. You're out numbered," George said after she gave all of them hugs. Mrs. Weasley grabbed Ron and Ginny and pushed them forward.

"You remember Ron, right? This is Ginny, our daughter. I was pregnant with her, remember?"

"Yes I do remember. Oh, they are definitely they're your children Molly. Now, who is this Hermione?"

Hermione stepped up. "I am Hermione Granger." Anastasia shook her hand and then gave her a hug.

"I've heard many good things about you Hermione. Apparently you could give me a run for my money. I know that means nothing to you but you seem like quite the smart one. Where is Harry?" The room quickly hushed. Dumbledore pushed Harry forward for his legs wouldn't move.

"Merlin, you're like a carbon copy of James with a few mistakes. These ones are for the better, I assure you. You have your mother's eyes. You look just like them," Anastasia smiled at him with tears in her eyes. She seemed afraid to go near him though. She didn't run up and give him a hug like she did everyone else.

"Harry, I don't want you to be mad at me. I tried so hard to be there for you. I tried and was thrown in prison for a couple of months because I tried to see you. I couldn't help what happened. They thought I was crazy and banished me from the country. Don't hate me," she whispered the last part to Harry. Even though she was far away, he could still hear her.

"You're my aunt aren't you?" She nodded. Harry walked up to her and gave her a hug. It wasn't one of the hugs he got from Hermione or Ginny. It wasn't one of those hugs he got from Mrs. Weasley. No, it wasn't a friendly hug or a motherly one. It was a loving hug that only a family member can give. Harry didn't really know her, yet he didn't want to let go. Clearly Anastasia didn't either because it was a while before they let go of each other. They realized that everyone had left to give them time alone to catch up.

"Look at me. You must think that I'm a crying fool. I'm not usually like this, I swear. James always taught me to be strong and here I go blowing that one out the window," she gave a small laugh. "I'm James's twin sister, incase you were wondering. I don't suppose anyone told you because they thought that I may never come back. I thought that I would never come back."

"Where were you? What are you talking about?" Harry asked her.

"Oh, I forgot you didn't know. I was defending Sirius's name in court and Fudge got mad at me and banished me from the country. I had to go to the States. I didn't get to see anyone I loved for a while, so I tried to break back into the country. I succeeded. You were the first person I tried to find. I couldn't go up to you because the Ministry had tabs on you. All I could do was watch you when you shopped with Petunia and while you played outside. I did this at least five times. I was punished with going to prison in the States for a couple of months but it was worth it because I watched you grow up. Now, I'm rehired in the Intelligence Department of the Ministry and they expect me to do all of their thinking again. Bastards," she finished. Harry sat there staring at her. So this was why he didn't know that he had an aunt.

"So anyway, how are things for you?" Harry and his newly found aunt talked for hours until dinner was ready.

~*~

"So, Anastasia, how are things for you? I haven't seen you since I was 9," Tonks asked her.

"Well, Nymphadora, I'm doing fine. Things were kind of lonely in the States. I'm glad to be back home."

"DON"T call me that. The name is Tonks."

"Then DON"T call me Anastasia. It's Anna, Annie, Anne, Stasia, anything. Just don't call me that. It makes me feel old. I'm 37 you know."

"Anne, did you see the headline in the paper this morning..."Remus asked Anne. She and Remus got in this big debate about what the Ministry was doing about the missing people. Everyone else paid rapid attention to this conversation and joined in occasionally. Harry couldn't pay attention though.

All he could think about was how he had another Potter in his wake. He finally had someone that was related to his father and not just friends with him. He had someone related to him other than Petunia. He had finally found someone to help him through the loss of Sirius that wasn't just a friend. He had someone in this world, finally.

A/N: This is very sappy. I'm not quite sure about it. I hope that you like it though. Please review. I need some encouragement with this story.
