Chapter Three
A few days later, Anne was talking to Hermione about some new theory on house elves.
"I have this group called S.P.E.W. It's all about the treatment of house elves," Hermione was telling her. Harry and Ron sat down next to them.
"I understand why you want to free the house elves, Hermione. Why don't you work to free the abused elves?"
"They are all abused though," Hermione stressed. Harry and Ron rolled their eyes. Here she goes, they both thought. They braced themselves for a log debate.
"No they all aren't. My family had two when I was growing up," Hermione looked at her with rage and opened her mouth to say something but Anna held up her hand. "Listen to me. We treated them with as much respect as we would a human. We didn't let them do everything and we gave them days off. People like the Malfoy's treat theirs like scum. Those are the ones you should be helping, not the ones who love what they do."
Hermione looked at her. "You know, everyone has been telling me to stop this craziness. You come along and tell me to just keep it up and focus on abused creatures"
"Lily went through the same stage. It was so crazy. We ended up telling her to just focus on one thing and it actually worked. She helped a lot of creatures but Fudge stamped that program out. Maybe you could start it again," Anna said. Harry and Ron made slashing marks across their throats. Anna ignored them.
"That's a brilliant idea. Thanks!"
"One thing though. You can't badger your friends into doing this if they don't want to. You'll make many enemies that way," Anna told the teen. Hermione beamed and said another thank you before leaving the room.
"Thank you so much, Anna. You've just given her something else to do," Ron said sarcastically.
"Shut up. Lily did the same exact thing and so bored of it after a while. She'll get over it when she gets overwhelmed with school. Just wait."

August came and went. Anna had to work 4 days out of the week and Harry missed her. He was finding out all of these weird little tid bits about them. Like how his father was a genius with random facts of history or how his mother was a wizard chess champion but lost only to Anna. It turns out that she's brilliant with everything, according to Remus. She didn't want to be an overachiever, so she just stuck with a few things.
She was on the house team for one year but quit because she wanted James to shine in that. She was excellent with everything and was an auror in training at the age of 13. She wasn't Head Girl because Dumbledore thought it would interfere with all of her studies. She worked in the Intelligence department while being an undercover auror. She was only used as backup. She also wrote books under a false name. Harry couldn't get over all of the things she did. Obviously the Potter's had quite a reputation to keep up.
A/N: Not much happening here. I just wanted to give you some background info on Anna.
