Compassionate Killer

Out of the sand storm a young pilot flies,
taking all of his enemies surprise.
Confusion comes quickly to all forces near,
when hit with stark panic and cold-blooded fear-
a Gundam was here.
A battle breaks forth and so does blind pain,
screaming and yelling and glories for fame.
The nightmare is sparked and so starts the carnage,
an unbridled power that never is harnessed-
the Gundam flew near.
A cry and a jolt and then lastly a choke,
explosions erupt and up rises smoke.
A plea for surrender a defiant battle cry,
a swipe of a blade and another man must die-
the Gundam is fear.
The pilot sobs out and says that he's sorry,
tears in his eyes and torment of folly.
No regret is forgotten and no lives go unnoticed,
but mobile suits came to what only is closest-
the Gundam was death.
The litter is scattered across all the land,
bewilderment hits one who can't understand.
Why die for something that's nothing at all,
no one is left standing to answer his call-
the Gundam is sorrow.
The sun sets for all and cast shadows dance,
Quatre sits staring in forlornly trace.
All that he'd fought he cried for then stiffened,
why couldn't they stop and just have listened-
the Gundam was compassion.
