We've just landed we've encountered resistance but got through. Were holding our position at the structure. Its odd how it was here, but its good cover we've been spotted dropships approaching we've got a fight coming.
Covanent dropship at 10 o'clock, fire! Kill those damned creatures men. Banshees at 12 o'clock fire your weapons, aim Marines aim. "I'm trying sir they just not hitting it" shut up Marine and shoot" (stupid idiot what does hey think I'm doing). Look they retreating "don't get cocky Marine they'll be back" (he's right and they'll be twice as much)
1 hour later They just came out of nowhere. "Marines keep firing lay down covering fire" "Sir their beating us were gonna die, its hopeless, their getting closer" "shut the heck up Marine and shot those Covanent".............."Pull back now, lets get in the structure now move it double time"
20 minutes later Sir their still coming were low on ammo, were not gonna make it. "Put a sock in it Marine". "Sir what's that noise, it sounds like one of our weapons, we didn't leave anyone up there did we?" "I can hear it and grunts and jackals are retreating this way open fire!" "Look it's a Spartan". " Sir we were pinned down thanks we need to get topside ok"
Hey Master Chief have you seen Rick or Zack? "I wouldn't know them "wait Chief Rick was one of the people killed in the crash in our lifeboat, Sorry he's dead" "he was a good Marine he killed a lot of those Covanent's" "thank you Sir"
12 Hours later
"Marines listen up were going to go here its underground and the Covanent are dug in, but we need to find the control room" We're leaving now for a new area something tells me its worse than where were before. Its cold here were near the LZ its hot, we've been hit were going down........____---Error end of log
