A/N: just so you know, this is Flameshadow, not Piperpony writing this. Its my first yugioh fic but by the premise you'd probably guess it was mine (if you cared in the first place:P)

An Impossible Love

Serenity gazed longingly out of her glass window, waiting for her love to appear. Seto Kaiba was the rich CEO of his own company, Kaiba Corp. aside from being very wealthy, he was caring (when it came to his brother, and, she hoped, herself), and very attractive, with his deep (or some might say cold) blue orbs and light brown hair. She however, felt she had no chance with him. He was the arrogant owner of a company, and she was but a lowly sea urchin in his aquarium.

Suddenly, Seto's entrance stirred her from her reverie. Several orange goldfish swam expectantly back and forth hoping for food for precisely 3 seconds, when their attention span limit ran out.

Seto Kaiba, for all his wealth, still seemed sad somehow. He was very lonely.

"God I need a girlfriend" said Seto. "Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle for a marine animal"

Very lonely 

Serenity's tiny aquatic heart raced. Seto approached his fish tank, reached into the cold water and picked—her! Of all the beautiful sea creatures in the tank, he seemed drawn to her for some strange but undeniable reason! With a shrug, Seto puckered up and gave the spiky brown sea urchin a big kiss.

All of a sudden, Serenity began to glow, and before long she'd transformed into a beautiful young redheaded (naked) girl.

"ummmm……" Seto began.

"OH SETO MY LOVE FINALLY THE MOMENT HAS ARIVED WHERE I CAN BE WITH YOU FOREVER! OH LETS GET MARRIED RIGHT AWAY!!!!!!" The newly made human (and still naked) girl cried as she threw herself at Kaiba.

"Oh my God!!!" Seto cried as the gravity of the situation finally stuck him "this is a scientific miracle!!"

"This is a romantic miracle!" Serenity shrieked, now nuzzling Seto's shirt.

"Well, I'll admit, this is perhaps better than an aquatic invertebrate with radial symmetry…."

"I don't know what you just said but does that mean you'll marry me???!!!" the former Coelenterate squealed

"I'm thinking" Seto snapped

After several hours during which Serenity's hold on him not once failed (she was an urchin before, her forte was suction!) and he found himself forced to drag her around the office building as he attempted to conduct experiments comparing her cells to tissue samples taken from urchins, he finally said "well……this setup means that I might get lucky more often, sooo, sure I'll marry you if you just let go"

Only two weeks later, Seto and serenity were wed. Their marriage seemed a fairly happy one, until, two weeks after that Serenity was caught cheating on Seto with a good-looking urchin who lived across the street. This situation could not be hidden, for upon their first kiss, Serenity was transformed back into an urchin. Kaiba was instantly heartbroken, and attempted to re-transform Serenity human by kissing another porcupine-like bottom feeder. Unfortunately the urchin he chose to make out with transformed into a tall, buff man with a skull tattoo, who promptly accused Seto of "stealing his woman" and beat him up.
