Monday morning. Of course it also meant that it was going to be time for her to go to the airport. Milan was her destination. It wasn't her first time there, since she went to the beautiful place with her mother once upon a time. It was so long ago that Rory could hardly remember what was there. It's going to be all right… I'll just leave a note for her. The "her" was her mother. Rory was living in a shell. She longed for independency. It was her mother's will to be herself when she was 16 that made Rory realize there was a world outside of Connecticut that she longed to look for. Of course Rory was 22 and living on her own in an apartment outside of Stars Hollow. All she wanted was a chance to find herself… the true her.

"Now boarding, flight 221 to Milan, Italy." Jess heard the announcement. He was going to Milan. Why? He asked that often to himself. Was it the adventure? The fun? The food? No. For him it was for a job. The only skill Jess maintained was that he could recite passages from various books he read a 100,000 times. Where he was now was not a place where he could use that. He did have other interests in life besides books, but it was just he longed to get out of the hands of the life he once regretted living. He was back where he started. New York. He was banned from going to California and Connecticut. Milan was such a risk to take, being the fact that he had never been outside of the US before. It was just that he wanted to break free and forget the past that he lived. He just knew that the only resort was to escape.
