Disclaimer: I don't own Everworld, Chris, David, April or Jalil. Neither do I own Lucky Charms, pancakes, door without locks or Richard Branson. Though come to think of it I am stalking the said millionaire and have just unearthed some strawberry goo…

A/n: This is a random one-off I thought up while making special-K this morn'n. I kina can't see out of one eye right now and I've been taking painkillers for days so I apologise in advance for my plot-less, pathetic Chris/David-slushy-ness.

Ok. So maybe Everworld didn't have Lucky Charms, but breakfast wasn't that bad here…

Bending into the cupboard at his feet Christopher gaped at the extensive collection of what he could only guess were casserole dishes.

"10 down, 3000 more to go." He sighed wearily playing einy-meiny-miny-mo along the row of cupboards panning the long kitchen. The next he tried had around forty varieties of spoon, after that was on full of oddly decorated fruit bowls. Eventually he got the right one and wasted no time in choosing a plate.

Grabbing the first one that came to his hand he nudged the door shut with his hip and turned to the counter behind him.

Humming loudly and badly to calafornyacation the blonde busied himself with the process of making pancakes. Topping them with sliced banana, syrup, strawberry goo and finally double cream.

"I hope your not actually going to eat that Christopher…" Ignoring the disapproving boys comment, Chris bit into his fruity concoction without even bothering to turn around. Suddenly strong arms snaked round the blonde's waist hugging him tightly to the warm body behind.

Chris moaned softly and leaned back into the embrace, David wasn't sure if it was in response to the food or his embrace, maybe both.

"Morning."

"Morning."

They stood like that in silence for a while. Broken only by sounds of the houses other boarders rousing.

A door was heard slamming elsewhere in the house, then a high-pitched female yelling. A few minutes later a chocolate-coffee coloured youth came into the kitchen in search of a refuge. Wearing a sheepish grin he explained the cause for the screaming.

"I kina didn't know April was already in the bathroom, and you know how these doors don't have locks and all…"

The other two snickered at this. David already with a cup of black coffee in his hand headed off for his study or to find Athena. Chris was at the table, eyeing the now not-so-edible wilting pancakes.

Yes. They did know how difficult it was without locks. With Chris out of tune whistling in the background the inhabitants of the house went about their morning business. And Jalil didn't bother or forgot to question the scene he'd walked into in the kitchen: The General and Chris opposite sides of the table, the General engrossed in his coffee and Chris busy putting some random paste on the pancakes in front of him. Both had noticeably pink flushed cheeks, and both were suppressing a grin

R&R kittens, what about a Chris/David angst? Actually I think /all/ Chris/David turn into angsty-ness fics…
