Author's Note: Thanks for the reviews so far. ^_^ They're really encouraging to have me continue. Someone said that the first chapter sounds like something from "Fast and the Furious". I haven't seen that movie before so... Oh well. This chapter is short and I'm almost done with chapter three.

Only a week later, Logan was appearing in court for conviction. She knew what she had done was wrong and now she was paying dearly for it. The way her family now thought of her was punishment enough. Too bad the judge didn't think it was.

"Logan Talon, you are convicted of illegal street racing and doing so without a license. Do you realize the seriousness of what you have been doing for the past three months?"

Behind Logan were her mother, father and two younger sisters. Her mother was weeping softly while her father glared at Logan in a disappointed manner. Logan didn't know what was going through the minds of her sisters. but it couldn't be anything good.

"Logan," the judge said a bit louder, "do you understand?"

"Yes, your honor." Logan turned her attention back to the judge.

The brunette was standing behind a table, barely even listening anymore. She knew she'd be facing a long time in jail. Or, at least, that's what she thought.

"How do you plead?"

"Guilty."

The judge nodded and looked at a file that was open in front of him. "Lucky for you, there is a choice to your punishment. You could face either twenty- four months in jail or twenty-four months at Camp Greenlake."

"Camp Greenlake, your honor?" Logan sounded surprised. She thought for sure that it'd be cell life for the next two years.

"Indeed. So, what is it going to be Logan? Jail or the camp?"

"Anything besides prison. I'll take Camp Greenlake."

"It's settled, then. Miss Talon, I sentence you to two years at Camp Greenlake. Good luck."
