Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I don't own any of the characters except for
Gwen and Katrina.
A.N.: Sorry for the shortness of this chapter, I wanted to see how people would like this story before I posted more. ^_^ Please R&R
Two households, both alike in dignity, each bore a child on the same day, hour and nearly second. Although the children did not look alike, they acted as if they were sisters. Over the years the fondness grew, and they became inseparable. Because the two girls were raised by upper class parents, the had to keep they're love for the sea (and pirates for that matter) a secret. Now and again the two would sneak away to the balcony and gaze longingly at the horizon. They saw it in a way no one else ever has or ever will, it was as if they knew it's secret.
They lead a rather "bland" lifestyle, days of fittings, teas, and poetry readings. Their nights consisted of lavish parties, grand balls, festivals, and other social gatherings. To someone on the outside it would see lovely, but to the girls who craved love, adventure, and even danger, all they had were their dreams. No one ever really understood the girls. Once they reached a proper age, they journeyed to Tortuga in search of adventure, danger and hopefully love.
