Draco stepped out onto Diagon Alley. The windy day was whipping his silvery blonde hair into his face. He wanted to cut it, but seen no reason why.lately he had been feeling depressed. Nothing to do after Hogwarts...Harry was off doing whatever..and...He sighed. What did he want?? He shook his head and walked down to Flourish and Blotts. He had been wanting to hole himself into a good book. Maybe it would take him far away......
Ginny Weasley had snuck out of the house. Again. When no one was home, she took the Floo Powder, and went to Diagon Alley. She had done this everytime the house was empty. She would go to Flourish and Blotts to read for about an hour, or two, or three... Then, she would sneak back home. She loved the thrill, adn the books. Ginny was agenuinley happy girl.. but she was itching to do something different. Something....she also sighed. And walked in to FLourish and Blotts.
Draco was walking down the street. he knew no one there: the less people I know, the better, he thought. All I want it ti find what i want in this life. He was sick of his family, and ran away. But, now, he was sort of emerging.... He ran his fingers through his hair and walked into Flourish and BLott's.
Ginny had been in the store but 5 minutes, and was already settled lieka cat into a corner with a romance novel. Her mother thought all non-fundamental books were trash; I don't need to tell you what Ginny thought. Her waist-length hair basically hid her on one side, but not the other...and that was the side Draco saw...
Draco's breath was taken away. He never looked at Ginny that way before. She was so pretty in that corner. Her hair shiny, and her face placid. He wanted to stare at her all day. But...what would she think? In school, they had been basically enemies. But, what about now??? Would she feel the same?? He had to know...he just had to......
Ginny saw a shadow over her book, and looked up..only to be kissed sweetly by someone. It was sweet, not disgusting, and wasn't froceful. It was sort of a question. And she answered back by kissing that person. She steeped back out of curiosity, and seen Draco Malfoy, his gaze intent upon her. She gasped, and the spoke:
" How did you know I was here?"
" I t wasn't planned, Ginny, I just seen you...and..."
" And, what?"
" I don't know. But, you are like a picture, I love to look at you. "
" Erm..thanks..."
" Ginny, come to eat with me."
" I dunno, Draco, I mean, "
" Please?"
And that was the start of this bona fide item.
After that lunch in the cafe, Ginny went home, but not before kissing Draco. He smiled, and she whispered softly into his ear, " Tomorrow, sam eplace at 2:30 am. Well, outside." And then left. He stood there dazed, and shook himself so he could walk home.
Ginny went home, and snuck inside/ She snuck upstairs, and wrote in her journal. She was so...she didn't know. She had never felt this warm, heart-flipping feeling before. Never. She had to write it out.
Draco walked into his flat outside of London. He fell back first onto his bed with relief. he felt he had satsfied his question: All he wanted was Ginny.
