Lizards, the sequel

SHE COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!
After saving the carnival from the lizard monsters, the owners decided to name the little infestants after her human form. There she was, walking the carnival again with Hotaru and Mamoru. She, Usagi, was in an incredibly good mood because she got rid of several of the creatures.
Then she saw the sign. "Come see Serena and Darien."
OF COURSE fully intrigued, Usagi walked into the building and groaned at the vast variation of lizards. She followed the signs to the one that pointed to Serena and Darien, her and her boyfriend's American names.
"We're named after LIZARDS!" Usagi bemoaned.
"Actually." Hotaru pipped up once since the attack. "They are Newts, and they are named after you. Don't you feel special? They got a place in this thing just for you, everybody should come see Darien and Serena, the newts, and Darien and Serena, the humans will perform tricks for the crowd." There Hotaru beamed at Usagi.
Usagi looked at Hotaru blankly, before screaming and running outside of the carnival, you would never see her at one again. Hotaru felt sorry that she ruined carnivals for Usagi, but it was awesome to see her reaction. Hotaru felt inclined to tell Mamoru and Usagi's child after it was born all about Usagi's utter lack of fondness for the creatures.
Usagi's child bought Usagi a lizard one day and placed it in Usagi's bed. When Usagi discovered it, you could hear a scream, then a *plat* sound coming from her room. Usagi's child got a severe tongue lashing for that, and Hotaru was kicked out of Usagi's house for a week.
Now see, Usagi didn't mind lizards, just so long as they stayed far, far, far away from her. She'd seen one to many, and all the rest of them drove her crazy. So from that day forward, the future Queen of Earth and Moon put a ban on allowing a female and male lizard in the same room together for any period of time unless it was for 1 day a year explaining the two creatures on TV.
So the population of Lizards went down and everybody but lizard fanatics were happy.
