It was summer and Legolas was waiting for the big party everyone was talking about. He smiled and laid down under the shade of a tree. He smiled and looked at the sky though the gap in the branches. The clouds were fluffy and white, that always made him smile. He couldn't wait to see the fellowship again it had been three years since the rings destruction. All their smiling faces and everyone would be so surprised at his news. He was married and had a child. The woman he was wed to was, Ariana Crystaleia Rosewood. The child was very cute and looked exactly like his father. Ariana walked out and sat beside him she was now bearing their second child.

"Legolas you want to come inside, Hun? It will be night soon." She looked at her husband who was just lying there.

"I think I'd like to stay out here a little longer." He looked over at her she had just started showing that she was pregnant.

"I understand your probably thinking about how to tell your friends you are married and have a child. You probably also thinking about what you will say to them." She smiled and looked at her husband.

"Exactly." Legolas beamed and their son cane running out.

"DADDY!" He jumped on his daddy and smiled.

"Hey there, Adam." He smiled and looked at his son the perfect heir to the Mirkwood throne.

"Mommy when will the baby be born?" Adam adverted his gaze to his mother, with an eager face on.

"I don't know sweetie." She picked him up off of Legolas and took him inside.

Legolas kept staring into space. Tears started falling because he knew it was too late to tell the one he truly loved that he loved that person. He sighed and sat upright. He faced himself to the tree. He looked at the old tree that he used to climb when he was a kid, and he pretended that he was the lord of the trees sometimes when he was little. He sighed, He wasn't little anymore and certainly not able to be childish anymore. The tears faded away. The party would start as soon as the mirkwood violins played their beautiful music through the air. Legolas stood up and made his way into the castle.

"Hello, Kirnta." Legolas smiled at their helper around the house who was sitting down because she had no instruction.

"Oh master Legolas, who may I be of service?" Legolas waved and sat beside her.

"I just want to talk." Legolas smiled at her. She nodded.

"So you want a vacation?" She nodded politely.

"Take one then." She stood up and thanked him and walked out. Legolas walked into the room he shared with his loving wife. He had to decide what he was going to wear to the party. He sighed and opened the amour. He looked at his old green tunic he couldn't remember the last time he had worn it. He sighed and looked at a white tunic he thought about it and laid it on the bed beside his little no nothing crown. Aragorn was king and that meant total and utter respect for him. No more crazy jokes, no more laughing, no more acting like kids! He couldn't believe the list of great things that would not be accepted. Frodo wouldn't believe that Legolas's kid was taller than he. Legolas took of his red tunic and blue under garments. His shoes were already off. Legolas sighed and thought abut what would best match up with white. He matched it up with a violet. His black boots would be good with the outfit. He slipped into the violet under garments and the white tunic. The placed the crown on his head. He thought about his title. Legolas Greenleaf, King of Mirkwood. He sighed and slipped his boots on. He walked outside and heard the music of the violens and sighed. Hopefully his friends will be really happy to see him.
