Final Fantasy X Another Life another story

Chapter 2
On the boat heading to Besaid Rikku was talking to her best friend Laura and her brother. Eventually it became late and they all slept. In the morning they woke up to see they had arrived at Besaid and so her journey has begun.
"Besaid what a beautiful place!" Declared Rikku as she walked off the ship
"ain't it?" asked Laura
"meh all the same to me" said Matthew
"can't you see how ni- never mind" Said Rikku
They all walked off the boat and went to the village in besaid. She went directly to the Temple and into the Cloister of Trials. She had to use her brains in order to figure out this puzzle. She after about an hour figured it out with her guardians. Then reached the Chamber of the Fayth.
"Valefor of Besaid Island please bless me by aiding my pilgramage against Sin" With that said Rikku fell to her knees and began praying to the Fayth.
Valefor the Aeon of beginnings was now hers.
Rikku and her entourage left the temple and went to a inn to rest for the night.
Meanwhile at the village of Kilika Sin arrived a annihilated the village with only a few pieces of Dock left and a couple of survivors.
As the night passed in Besaid Rikku grew anxious thinking about her journey which has started taking shape.
~I might die but I only do this to protect Spira from Sin but I know I may never defeat him which...makes me wonder is this all really worth it~
