Change of Heart

Disclaimer:  I don't own any of The OC characters.   If I could I would definitely choose Adam Brody.

Note:  This is a Seth/Anna fic.  Don't like, don't read.  NO FLAMES!!!!

It had been two long, horrible, and torturing months since Anna had gone back to Pittsburgh.  He missed her laugh and the way that she always knew what he was thinking even before he said it.  He had talked to her on the phone a few times but he needed to see her.

In the middle of reminiscing about Anna, the phone rang.  "Hello, Seth Cohen speaking."  "You don't have to identify yourself every time you answer the phone freak."  "I know, I do it just for you Summer."  "Whatever, I just called to see if you wanted to come over or something."  "I would but I'm kinda busy right know."  That was a lie if he ever heard one.  Even though he had wanted Summer since he was like 9, things weren't turning out like he expected.  Sure she was beautiful and they had great sex,  but when they weren't on each other like dogs, they didn't have a lot to talk about.  This left the relationship kind of boring.  Bottom line, he missed Anna.

"Okay" she said, her voice full of hurt.  "Sorry, maybe tomorrow."  "Bye."  He hung up the phone and dialed the number that was burned into his brain from looking at it so much.  It rang and rang, but no one answered.  Finally after about the 68th ring he hung up.  Where was she?  It was 4 in the afternoon, she should be home.  She's probably just out with some friends, he thought.  Some guy friends.  At the thought of that he bolted out of his room and rushed downstairs.  His parents and Ryan were sitting at the table when he rushed in none of them looked up.  "Hey, I was thinking since next week is Spring Break if I could go visit Anna in Pittsburgh."  "I don't know Seth," said Kristin.  "Have you even talked to her about it?"  "Ya I talked to her about it last night, she said it was fine," he lied.  "Come on, PLEASE."  "Fine but you have to call home every night."  "Deal."  "What about me, what am I supposed to do while you're gone?" Ryan asked.  "You can work out all your angst with Marissa, you'll have plenty to do don't worry." He responded.

That night Seth called the airline and booked a flight.  He hoped Anna would be happy to see him; otherwise his plan would be a waste.  After everything was ready, Seth picked up the phone to call and tell Summer about his trip.  He knew she would be angry and he hoped he would be alive to see tomorrow.
