Author's Notes: Hey everyone! So I know I should be working on The Pianist, but I promise I'll get there! It's not on hiatus and I've got the next chapter planned. But this was one of those things I had to write--the idea attacked me, let's say. So anywho, this is my first attempt at a drabble (100 word) fic, but I didn't quite make it. I wrote it with the end of the series in mind, but actually, it's mostly pretty random -_-' With that, I present my random, very short, loosely rhyming "song". Enjoy! ~CronoCat =^_^=

**********Song of Sadness**********
Her hand on her heart, she counts the beats counting down.
Day after day sees her life spin around.

She bottles up her pain, where no one can see.
On the outside, she's blank, never changing.

The people below see her ship rocket past: a fallen star...
~*~
But they can't see the hurt that she feels.
They don't know to mourn this loss that is real.
~*~
They all think she died long years ago,
beside these same stars that turn and glow.
~*~
Through the water of her tears, she sees the stars spin round.
Tastes the salt on her face, sees them all fall down.
~*~
They crash into each other, white light explodes.
~*~
And now, at last, she's all alone
She can't help but wish she had known...
