The deck was quiet, save for the oceansong. Few lanterns provided light, in a pale imitation of the sun. In her brother's place, the moon had risen to accompany the weary.
"What are you thinking about?" asked Zoro.
"Home," said Luffy.
"Do you miss it?"
"No."
"Do you miss your home?" Luffy asked.
"...No." He rarely gave it thought, it seemed.
"I don't have to miss mine; I always carry it with me," Luffy smiled.
"That's a nice sentiment. We should always hold on to what's dear to us."
"...Yes, we should." Luffy reached out slowly and grasped Zoro's hand.
