I didn't claim him.
I didn't argue for him.
I didn't want him, and I still don't.

But he is my son.

Not Potter's damned son.

And nothing I do will fix it.

No one will imagine I argued.
No one will pretend I claimed him,
Because I didn't.

I have no regrets,
No wishes for a long-lost son I don't know;
No need to tell him.

But how dare he not know!

He is my son!

Mine.

And he will never know.
Because I cannot bear to tell him
That I never wanted him.
