This is my first story. Please read and review. Thank you.
This is an both sides of what happened at Ceres Station. The majority of the story will be in first-person, until near the end, and will alternate between Samus and Ridley. Samus:
I had, after months of consideration, delivered the Metroid infant to the research station at Ceres. As I left the station, I had a bad feeling in my stomach. I figured something was going to happen, but I didn't know what yet...
Ridley:
The Mother Brain had ordered me to take the Metroid larva from the Federation's Ceres Station, so I flew off without questioning why she wanted this larva so badly. I have learned from watching other fools suffer a horrible fate that it is better not to question the Mother Brain.
Samus:
As I was flying away from Ceres, by ship's sensors picked up a distress signal which, although weak, seemed to be coming from Ceres Station. I flew back to Ceres as quickly as possible to discover that the alarm had been disabled, because I had no problem landing. Normally I would have had to had clearance, but this time, nothing happened when I tried to land. Once inside the station, I noticed that there was a large breach in the docking bay.
Ridley:
It was all too easy to infiltrate Ceres. Those foolish scientists didn't know what to do when they saw me. HA! I killed them easily and took the Metroid before proceeding to the back of the station. I had heard a ship landing, and could only assume it was the hunter landing on the station. I cloaked myself in the shadows and waited for her to appear.
Samus:
Once I had examined the breach, I went down to the research area to see what had happened. The sight I was met with was stunning! All of the computers were destroyed, all of the scientists were dead, and the Metroid larva was missing. I headed to the back of the ship, where I found the Metroid's container. As I approached it, a pair of eyes peered out of the gloom. I then saw a monster I hoped I never would again....
Samus: You!
Ridley: Surprised? I would expect so, after all, you left me for dead on Zebes, but no, the Space Pirates revived me, Kraid, and the Mother Brain. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must take this to her! Samus: Not if I can help it! **begins shooting at Ridley**
Ridley: **hits Samus with tail** You won't defeat me as easily this time! Goodbye, fool! **flies off** **Self-destruct sequence activates** **Samus gets back into her ship** Samus:
I can't believe the Space Pirates are back! I must follow Ridley to Zebes, rescue the larva, and defeat the Mother Brain once and for all!
