That night Joey went out and became totally drunk and was kicked out for starting a fight. He walk off into an ally, fell on some garbage bags and threw up on himself.
"Joey is that you?"
Joey looked up. "Who are you?"
"Look don't play dumb with me, its me....Mai." "What are you doing out here?"
"Ive got nuttin ta live for so this is what I do now."
Mai stood there. "What!" She walked up and grabbed him by the collar, she smiled. "Your much to young, your life has just begun....lets..walk for a while."
They walked around the whole city, Mai holding Joey up so he wouldn't fall flat on his face. Joey gazed at Mai, he looked straight into her eyes.

They walked some more had coffee then around 2:00 am they walked to Joey's house. The lights were off. ( Good no ones home.)
"Well Joey see ya I gotta find a good hotel, See ya!"
"Wait Mai you can stay here."
"Umm....O.K. guess."
They walked in.
"WOW its sure..........AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!....JOEY!
Joey turned to see his father holding Mai with his arm and holding a knife to her throat.
"Who's this? Where have you been son? Is this your little tramp?" He said cutting Mai down the arm
"STOP!, Joey shouted "Let er go!"
"Answer me!." He said cutting Mai down the other wrist, Mai screamed, "Please Stop!" "Shut up B#%$^!" Joey's father said slapping her.
"God no..., I was at the bar dad!"
"Lie to me again and your girl gets it! Boy!"
"IM not lying! Stop Please!"
"Ya right ya were." And then he cut Mai's face across the forehead.
"Joey help me please."
Joey stood there. He had never seen Mai like this , crying, bleeding, begging. His feelings took over , he lunged forward slamming his dad into a railing on their balcony it fell under his weight sending him letting go of Mai and falling to his death. Mai lay lifeless on the floor her head had hit the cement when she fell.
