(Hey you guys this is the first story I wrote on www.fanfiction.net so be nice lol! I hope you enjoy and hope I can get good reviews and so ill update this as much as I can because it will have a few chapters. Hope you like it!)
It was nearing the end of summer and Harry Potter (you all know who he is so I won't explain the whole wizard think ok) was sitting outside of his aunt and uncle's house in the front lawn waiting for them to call him in for dinner. Now normally nothing would disturb Harry, but suddenly a large moving truck drove by. The house next door had been sold for over a week so I guess Harry was expecting it, but still curious he walked over to the house next door to check it out.
The moving truck came to a stop in the driveway and a man jumped out and headed for the car that was following the truck. A tall handsome man got out of the car and was talking to the moving man. He began to walk towards the house but turned around and motioned for the rest of his family to exit the car. First emerged a woman that looked like she was in her 30's. She had light blonde short hair, was short, and a little chunky but still really pretty. Next a young boy about the age of 7 emerged and ran up to the door of the house. Harry thought that was all because he didn't see the daughter of the family exit the car. So Harry started to walk up to the door to greet his new neighbor considering anyone he could talk to would be better than the Dursleys.
As Harry made his way across the lawn he was taken aback when a beautiful young girl tapped him on the shoulder. It was like love at first sight for Harry. The young girl had beautiful light blonde hair that went down to her shoulders. Her eyes were baby blue and sparkling. Her teeth were as white as they could be and she was a little bit shorter than Harry. She was not to big and not too small…. She was perfect.
"Hi!" She said cheerfully with a smile that showed all of her sparkling white teeth. Harry could not speak. He was mesmerized at how beautiful the girl was.
"Hello? Anyone there?" She said with a little chuckle. Harry suddenly snapped out of his trance and began to speak,
"Hi. My name is Harry Potter. I'm one of your neighbors from next door and I thought that I would come over and like welcome you guys."
Harry was sweating like a pig. He was so nervous and was surprised that the girl was even talking to him. Then once again the girl spoke,
"Well hello Harry Potter. I'm very glad to meet you. It was sweet of you to come over and greet us. I hope we can be friends. Hey would you like to come with us to dinner? You could show us around the neighborhood and that would be really great."
Harry thought about this offer for a minute. He knew for sure the Dursleys wouldn't let him go, but he wasn't thinking so the first thing that came out of his mouth was of course….
"Yes! I would love to go out to dinner with you ummm with your family I mean."
"Great Harry I'll go and tell them now!"
"Hey wait!", Harry said suddenly, "I didn't catch your name!"
"My name?", She replied, "My name is Hailey."
