~Chapter one-~
When they pulled away, they looked at each other through new eyes. Triss started to say something but instead kissed Wren once more. They went back to the festivities suddenly in a better mood. Wren could practically feels him watching her as he disappeared in his usual way. Always there but never seen. She joined in the singing and dancing, forgetting everything except the feel of Triss's lips against hers. When everyone retired she went back to the Ellcrys before heading back inside for some sleep.
When she awoke the next morning she felt relaxed and calm, not a care in the world. She went for a long horseback ride with Triss. Instead of using two horses they shared one. They went for a picnic and explored the forest. This became a Daily routine and they soon knew everything there was to know about one another. It was late afternoon one day in early autumn and the leaves were turning bright oranges and reds. When they stopped for lunch, Triss got down on one knee and held out a small box.
"Wren Elessedil, I've known you for a long time and you become more beautiful every time I see you. Would you take my hand in marriage and make me the happiest man in the world?" He opened the box to reveal a sparkling intricately woven silver ring.
"Yes Triss." She said barley able to talk. He slid the ring onto her ring finger and stood up. Wren threw her arms around him and kissed him. "Yes Triss. I love you so much.
A/n cool huh. I almost started crying when he purposed how bout you. Sniff, sniff. It was wonderful.
