Final Fantasy

He is a lily flourishing from crystal prisms, dancing atop angel tears shimmering on a pond, my special water spirit whose feet float on the laughter of the breeze. Enchanted by a fairy's grace, he glides on legs blessed by a prima ballerina, limbs that mirror the kaleidoscope of my dreams. His eyes are as magical as the patterns on snowflakes, revealing the complexity of invisible chambers in a labyrinth. Silky strands flow like the folds of a queen's dress, rich, chocolate-colored tresses exceeding the value of any royal jewel. A beautiful butterfly, whose complexion is as velvety as his wings, soars through desert and island, valley and forest to captivate my mind and perception.

Lady Ishtar, grant me my first and last selfish wish! Permit me to fly in the shadow of my light so I may gaze upon a heaven mere mortals cannot fathom. I would rather be damned to trace the steps of my pretty prince than forfeit an hour of his spellbinding sorcery. As an amateur archeologist, I would not disturb the secrets in his tomb, nor could I reveal his charms to a museum.

The wind craves my courage as the fragrance of his aura pirouettes around me, tantalizing my senses with a scent as mystical as the origin of the sphinx. Papyrus scrolls open, history of a monarch flutters out, and I fall into a story with a never-ending legacy. With many more chapters to fill the bindings of our legend, my imagination resembles the thoughts of vagrants before me, philosophers that dared to solve the mysteries of their cultures. Basking in his ancestor's wisdom, I follow the aroma of this desert rose, riding riddles of the sunset to my final fantasy.
