Space Bikers Ahoy!

To Wizard1: Well, I don't think you're a half-bad writer. You did great on "Mutant Massacre", and "Kareoke Dance Party" is going along swimmingly. You do emotional stuff a lot better than me. My specialty is silly slapstick- like humor. I have seen GI Joe the Movie before, but it's been so long, and I've been unable to get a copy, that I've just plain forgotten what happened in it. You'll have to assume that Athena's old costume got destroyed accidentally during one of Kyle and Toshi's many arguments and they still are getting along famously. And the East Coast Misfits do have a battle cry, used cried out by Paul. Ace just used a variation of it. Oh yeah, and expect a visit from Logan. Terrell accidentally cracked a couple jokes near Logan about X23, Cher, and your talking. (Terrell: *whimpering in hospital bed* Help me...Stop the pain...)

To Red Witch: Yipe! Maybe Thunderbolt bit off more than he can chew!

Does anyone know how to make bold and italic type appear on the site screen? I can't do it! HEEEEELP MEEEEE!!!!!

It's Profile Time once again! This time, we look over at a Joe who traded glitzy gold for military green. One of the Misfits' handlers, the Wolverine tank's favorite driver, Cover Girl! Thanks to the Filecard section of YoJoe.com!

Cover Girl

Real Name: Courtney A. Krieger

Affiliation: Army

Rank: Sergeant (Specialist)

Primary Military Specialty: Armor (Wolverine Tank Driver)

Secondary Military Specialty: AFV Mechanics

Birthplace: Peoria, Illinois

Bio: Before becoming the resident "mother" of the East Coast Misfit team, Cover Girl was a high fashion model in the Chicago and New York areas. Seeking a new direction, she joined the Army, where she became an expert in fixing and driving any armored vehicle. Her model looks have often fooled many an opponent and have often made her the object of underestimation by many. When picked to join GI Joe, she was trained to operate their Wolverine Tank, a missile-firing tank. Later, she was one of the Joes chosen to be a caretaker of the Misfits, a group of teenage mutants who fell under the care of GI Joe. The Misfits adore Cover Girl, even though they drive her crazy all the time with their antics.

Fact: Cover Girl was one of the Joes who found East Coast Misfit members Starchild and Darkstar living in an abandoned movie studio in Hollywood during a mission (The other Joes were Lady Jaye and Recondo. The Starr Brothers ended up under Recondo's care).

(Malibu, California)

"WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" The West Coast Misfits were knocked back by pink waves of energy. "OWWW!!!"

"Somebody's touching my butt." Terrell moaned.

"Sorry. Landed like that." Rahne moaned in response.

"Why'd you take your hand off?"

"Oh ha ha."

"No, seriously."

"Will you knock it off, Terrell?" Theresa grumbled as she and the other mutants got to their feet. They looked like they had taken a beating. Ace and X23 stood the tallest, considering they had healing factors.

"What?" Terrell shrugged. The Crushers approached the kids.

"I must admit, you kids can fight for Earthmen. I wonder how you obtained these powers." Pulverizer chuckled.

"I just woke up one day, and BOOM! I could run like lightning and make wind blow any way I wanted!" Terrell quipped.

"Now's not the time for your comedy, Terrell." X23 growled. She then heard a bestial roar. "Ace, that's not funny!"

"Not me, babe!" Ace held up his clawed hands in self-defense. A figure leaped out in front of the kids. He looked like an adult male with slicked- back brown hair, claws, pointed ears, and a broom-like beard. He was clad in a tan costume with black around the neck and a black stripe down the center, and dark tan boots and gloves. The boots and gloves were adorned with sharp teeth, and the man also had those teeth around his neck and waist. The Crushers' eyes widened in horror.

"Fang!" They cried together.

"Aw man, I knew it! If Fang's here, the rest of the Guard's not too far behind!" Krokus snapped.

"I'm not afraid of that savage!" Xenox growled.

"Last time we fought, I beat you down!" The feral alien known as Fang snarled.

"You had your buddies with you!" Xenox snapped. Fang smirked, crossing his arms.

"Yeah, I do." Fang replied.

"Can someone please explain to us what in the world is going on here?" John said. "I'm completely confused."

"You think you're the only one, mate?" Tommy scratched his head. "I'm more confused than a homing pigeon with brain damage!"

"Perhaps you should speak to me." Gladiator flew over the Crushers.

"Gladiator!" Pulverizer snarled, his fists glowing with pink energy. "You stupid clown! Why do you always interfere in our fun?! AAAAAAAAAGHHH!!!!" A stream of flames came from the sky.

"Uhm...That's not from you, is it Toshi?" Ali whispered to Toshi. The flames were accompanied by a blast of electricity.

"And Kyle is not behind the lightning, is he?" Rahne asked. Sunfire and Thunderbolt looked at each other, then at Dazzler and Wolfsbane. The pyrokinetic and electrokinetic shook their heads 'no' in unison. Wildstar and X23 heard rumbling thanks to their enhanced hearing.

"Hey, look!" Ace pointed behind his team-mates. The gang turned and saw more aliens. The first ones they saw were a trio of fliers: The first one had black feathers growing out of his head like an arrowhead, indicating he was the same species as Pulverizer. The alien was clad in a tan-and-black uniform with four yellow triangles on the chest, yellow shoulders, and yellow boots and gloves with a tan triangle on each one. Electricity crackled all over his body, similar to the electrical field Kyle used to fly.

"What is that? Some kind of Thunderbolt-wannabe?" Kyle sneered.

The second flying alien appeared to be made of yellow flames with a costume made of orange flames, and a black skull-like head with glowing red eyes.

"Odd. A creature made of pure flames." Sunfire sneered.

The third flaying alien was female, clad in a white costume with a black Storm-like cape and cowl with a yellow underside. The woman had a yellow face and solid white eyes.

"I think we're in big trouble." Dazzler gulped. Riding a nearby wave of earth was a gray creature with a large head, a noseless face, three- fingered hands, and two-toed feet.

"What is that?" Rictor wondered. Riding another wave of earth were two women. The first one had light blue skin, and slightly darker short hair, black markings under her eyes, and she was clad in a somewhat revealing dark purple costume with high gloves and boots, and a Batman-like cape.

"Whoa! I had no idea alien chicks could be so fine!" Terrell grinned. The second woman was a redhead clad in a yellow costume with an orange circle on the chest and black lines emanating from the circle on it. She also had on high red boots and gloves with red fur on them.

"I like the hot alien redhead, mates!" Shark Man grinned. Riding a second wave of earth was a green alien that looked like the stereotypical Martian clad in a dark green costume: green skin, antennae, and pointed ears.

"Check out the Martian!" Rahne laughed. With the Martian were two other aliens: One looked human, clad in a white and black costume with red around the waist, black gloves, and black boots. He had blue hair and red sunglasses with an odd red "T"-like symbol on his chest.

"Whoa." John blinked. The last alien was clad in a blue-and-purple costume with a very odd visor as the only thing on his head.

"That one kind of reminds me of Cyclops." X23 raised an eyebrow.

"Who are you people or aliens or mutants or whatever?!" Randy exclaimed.

"Come on Crushers, now you face the Imperial Guard!" Gladiator flew in and landed near the Crushers. "Electron! Starbolt! Manta! Earthquake! Fang! Nightside! Shape-Shifter! Astra! Smasher! Impulse! Get ready to fight for the honor of the Shi'ar Empire!"

"The what'ar empire?" Ace scratched his head.

"I think we landed in some kind of alien turf war." Siryn blinked.

Hoo boy! This'll not be pretty! Who'll win this one? What kind of powers do the members of the Imperial Guard have? Can they handle the Crushers? What side will the puzzled West Coast Misfits take? Find out in the next chapter! Suggestions needed badly!
