Blind
I can sense your anger as it shines through in your eyes;
All was peaceful until I took you by surprise.
You rant, you rave, you protest, you demand.
But I do what I want; it's a free land.
As I watch your rage build up, one thought comes to my mind:
All that you have ever been is really truly blind.
Blind to my talents, my dreams, my fears;
You don't show pity at my numerous tears.
Blinded by anger, you see only my faults.
I try to go on, but I see this and halt.
Unwilling to listen, unwilling to see;
You think of yourself, however, not me.
Blind to my feelings, my dearest wish:
Oh please, oh please, don't be so selfish.
Blind to my world, my personal life;
Your words are like a slaughtering knife
Cutting into my skin.
You try so hard to win.
But here's new news, listen; take heed.
I promise this, you won't succeed.

Well, doesn't this just lighten the mood! ^____^
