Just a little something I wrote for a poetry competition. I wanted 2 post
it, so changed a few lines, and posted it as Rose's thoughts before she met
Jack. I wasn't actually thinking of Rose when I wrote it, so it might be a
bit out of character – tell me what you think!!!
Lonely, so lonely,
Drowning in tears,
My life is so empty,
My heart full of fears.
Frightened, so frightened,
Drowning in cold,
Does nobody care,
For me in this world?
Empty, so empty,
Drowning I cry,
They want so much,
I want to know why.
Helpless, so helpless,
Drowning, not free,
I need to escape,
I want to be me.
Freedom, just freedom,
Is all that I ask,
For I'm slowly dying,
That fact I can't mask.
