Okay, I'll admit a little short, the next few may be smaller then I would like but I am trying. This character isn't as popular as most others I have in this story but I'll give you a cookie if you know her from marvel. She doesn't have any flings/relationships that I know of with any original characters in the evo verse. If you know any please tell me in the reviews and I'll be your best friend!

Chapter 2: One Reason Not To Mess With Mutants

****

"Hey! Someone stop her!"

"Mutie!"

"Watch out, mutant!"

"Quick, Steve, shoot it!"

Sally Blevins laughed almost maniacally as she skidded along the sidewalk skilfully using her powers which allowed her to cut out kinetic tension in molecules. Quite simply she was sliding across what looked like a long translucent green slide, using her 'shields' as a snowboard for air.

Leaning over slightly, she snatched up an apple from an outside display and munched on it as she poked her tongue out at the people who stared at her.

"Whoa!" She almost tumbled to the ground at the sound of a gunshot and screaming. Glancing over her shoulder, she frowned as she noticed someone aiming a gun at her.

Leaping off her slide, she landed on the ground and began casually walking towards the group which were cheering the possessor of the gun on. Tossing her apple core aside, she wiped her hands on her jeans. At the sound of another gunshot, she rose her hands in the air and constructed one of her penertratable force fields causing the bullet to ricot off and smash through the window of an apartment block.

"Oops." She muttered sheepishly before turning back to the group who were looking a little nervous by now. "You know how stupid it is to pick a fight with a mutant, right?" Without waiting for an answer, she thrust her arms forward shifting her force fields causing them to knock the entire group of about six people over. Looking stunned everyone expect the man holding the gun although it was his life-support ran.

Biting her tongue, she hummed to herself as she carefully constructed a new wall around him. "That should hold for about a couple of days." She said, smirking. Turning to walk away, she twisted around and waved her hand. "Soundproofing is always so much fun, don't ya think?" She laughed again as she watched his face twist in horror.

"Go ahead, no one can hear you scream. For real."

Jumping at the sound of sirens, she zipped up her parker and took off at a slow jog allowing herself to get lost in the crowd. Walking into an alley, she leant against the wall and let out a long exhale. That was a close one. She'd have to lay low for awhile now.

Sally Blevins aka Skids had lived on the streets by herself for as long as she could remember. She had always rented the one room apartment above the Laundromat for about 4 years now. Sighing, she walked down the alley, kicking a can in frustration. The feisty young blonde had only just turnt 16 and was growing tired of the same game of running and hiding.

Leaning against the wall, she sank to floor and buried her face in her hands. She had to get away from it all, before it drove her crazy.
