Yes, it's Marrow! I know that she grows a second heart during the revenge for the morlock massacre but I'm just gonna pretend that she already know her organs can do that. And I'm not going to have Evan in this story at all simply because... well I hate Spyke. *Shakes fist at the male Marrow clone* So in this story, Evan's hiding in the sewers, hm maybe I'll even accidentally kill him off. Muahaha, my story I can get rid of him anyway I want!

Chapter 3: A Marrow Escape
****
The ambulance pulled up in front of the hospital, sirens wailing loudly. The two medics leapt out of the front seats, slamming doors behind them and opened the back as they helped pull out the stretcher and flip the wheels out from beneath it.
Slowly opening her eyes, the first thing the Sarah Rushman saw was the blurry vision of the roof tiles rushing past over her head. Her head throbbing, she quickly closed her eyes again and remained motionless realising she was in a hospital, one of the last places she wanted to be. She tried to relax listening to the voices around her.
"Quick, get her into the emergency room, she's been stabbed pretty close to the heart, if it wasn't for life support she'd be dead."
"If we operate now, we can save her. Nina! Get her in there!"
"Okay on the count of three lift. One, two, three. Lift!"
Panicking, she sat up as soon as she hit the cold metal of the operating table. "I'm okay!" She screamed, blinking rapidly as she tried to get used to the light. Silence filling the room, Sarah used the opportunity to leap to her feet and push past the surgeons blocking her way.
Running through the near empty halls, she glanced over her shoulder to make sure no one was following and ducked into an empty room, slowly closing the door. Stepping away, her eyes searched the room frantically from escape.
She barely had time to reflect over what had just happened... a simple street fight ending in her being stabbed. She didn't know how but... She placed a hand over her chest... She had been stabbed clean through her heart. Somehow she had regrown a second one.
All she knew right now was she had to escape, couldn't risk herself being recognized for what she was. A mutant.
"This isn't good." She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose as she tried to focus on a plan.
"Yes Miss Rushman, you seem to have landed yourself in quite a lot of trouble. But I can help you." She swung around as the sound of a clip English voice cut through the silence.
"Who are you?" Sarah demanded, forcing a sharp bone to split through her skin. Tearing it out, she brandished it in front of her, knowing it wasn't much but sometimes the fact that she could do that was enough to scare people off.
A woman clad in white stood in front of her, hands clasped behind her back. Everything from her polished boots to her long white hair pulled into a tight bun screamed professionalism and confidence. "Now, now no need to resort to violence." She continued, eyeing the bone sword carefully. "I just want to talk."
"Talk, huh?" Sarah snapped back angrily, wary that she wasn't swayed at all by her talent. "Please, I've been around long enough to know there's a catch to everything."
Chuckling slightly, the woman, shook her head. "My name is Emma Frost. I have a proposition to offer."
Watching her, Sarah sighed and lowered her 'sword' slightly realising she needed help right now, and this lady, may be willing to help. "I'm listening."
"I'm forming a group of mutants, all I ask is that you join me, and I get you out of here."
Narrowing her eyes, Sarah tightened her lips in suspicion. "And what sort of group would this be."
"Why, simply one where I offer my assistance to young mutants in help of their powers."
Sarah hesitated. She had heard of similar groups in the area. She never wanted to join any groups but who knew, maybe it would make a change to what she was used to.
Emma extended her hand, raising a brow. "So, what do you say, Miss Rushman?"
Looking at her hand why she considered this, Sarah began weighing her options. Free lodging, training, food? To what? Continue living on the streets, not to mention being caught in another anti mutant act and landing in a hospital. Shuddering, she accepted her hand, smiling.
"You got yourself a deal."

Ooh, cliff hanger. I know, not a very good one. Actually, not one at all. *Shrugs* Up next - The girls meet for the first time!
