CHARACTERS FROM DISNEY OR THE LION KING, ALTHOUGH SHE HAS MADE UP A FEW OF
HER OWN CHARACTERS!
BI: AWWW IT'S SO CUTE!!! ::runs up and buries face in Scar's mane in a huge
hug::

* describing how someone talks * ::action:: thought /scene settings\ (side note) /The sun rose just like any other normal day, cresting over the top of the horizon, flooding the savanna with light. When the light reached Pride Rock, it flooded into the cave where king Ahadi and queen Duma slept...along with the other lionesses of the pride. When the sun hit Ahadi's face, he blinked his eyes open and then yawned, curling his lips back to show his large, strong teeth.\ "Duma", he whispered, trying not to wake the other lionesses. Duma stirred in her sleep, then rolled over facing away from her mate. Ahadi just scowled and nipped her ear. Duma felt the sharp pain and yelped quickly... quickly but loudly. A few other lionesses stirred and grumbled then drifted back to sleep. Duma was now groggily swaying back and forth rubbing the sleep from and eye with her paw. "What was that for?" She mumbled to Ahadi. "Simple," Ahadi grumbled, "Rafiki said today, would be the day of the birth of our prince." Duma's face lightened up instantly, "Yes! Hurry, we must go see how the little monkey's doing!" With that, Ahadi, king of the Pridelands, and Duma, his fair queen, walked to the baobab tree in which their mandrill friend called home. Duma found it fairly hard to walk; possibly due to the fact that she looked like she had swallowed two whole antelope and didn't stop to chew. When they arrived to the baobab tree, Rafiki was swinging from the tree to greet them in an instant. "Why, Duma! You luuk like you swalled dwo whole zebra! Come, dear, let Rafiki help dose cubs of yaors!" Rafiki leaped down and held a hand out to Duma. She draped her paw over his arm and they hobbled to the back of the tree. Ahadi hesitated, but decided to follow. He could almost see the bedding of grasses set up for her behind the great tree, the Rafiki's head appeared in front of him. Ahadi leapt back and let out a startled growl. He realized Rafiki was hanging upside down from a low branch. "Ah, you triky lion you!" He said with a laugh, "You know the fadda can't see da mudda until AFTA da birth!" He let out a chuckle and swung to the ground in front of the king. "Why don't you go bak to Pride Rock?" He said with a more serious tone, placing a hand on Ahadi's golden-brown shoulder. Ahadi thought for a moment, then actually smiled. It wasn't a cringe, mock, or even silly smile; it was a kind-hearted smile. Rafiki only saw him smile like that towards Duma. Rafiki returned the kind smile, hugged the loin, then grabbed his stick and leapt back behind the tree. (Rafiki could do all these agile things even better back then; he was much more youthful) Ahadi turned and made his way back to Pride Rock, all the while, going over and over what a good name for the future king would be.
