A/N: Hi everybody, thanks for the reviews once again, they're amazing. This
is kind of a short chapter, but I liked the way it ended so I just left it
like this.
Enjoy!

To see you when I wake up, is a gift I didn't think could be real
To know that you feel the same, as I do, is a Three-fold utopian dream
You do something to me
That I can't explain
So would I be out of line, If I said I miss you.

What I've Missed:

The days towards the wedding passed much faster than she expected.
She didn't think about him all that much, she didn't have time anyway, she
was too busy preparing the wedding, and the fact that he stayed away from
her as far as possible also helped keeping her mind of him.
The big day was there and everybody was pretty nervous, she was her
mother's maid of honor and he was his best man. Her boyfriend couldn't be
there because he had to leave town for his work, he excused himself and he
left. She asked him to stay, she practically begged him to stay but he told
her they needed the money and that he had to go. So she let him, and she
later, when she thought about it she didn't mind somehow. She asked herself
so many times why she actually stayed with him, she didn't love him, she
didn't feel passion when she made love to him, it was just over. But she
just didn't have the courage to actually say it to him. She knew that if
she ever wanted to be happy she had to tell him eventually.
Her mother's fiancee, his nephew and she stood already at the altar and
when they watched her mother walking down the aisle they once again
exchanged looks and she knew she had to stay away from his as far as
possible because otherwise she wouldn't be able to control herself.
The ceremony went exactly like her mother planned and they both cried when
the reverant pronounced them husband and wife.
During the reception her mother and her husband danced together and then
the one thing she somehow feared, happend, she had to dance with the best
man.
She walked towards him and she felt his hand slipping around her waist, his
touch was burning inside of her and left a trace, a shiver that went
through her whole body. On her skin, goosebumps started to appear and he
noticed.
"I don't want you to feel uncomfortable" he told her with a slight grin on
his face, knowing he had that effect on her. He didn't want to because they
agreed that everything had been a mistake, but still he liked it.
And she told him it was alright. They spent a whole song dancing with each
other and when the song finished they didn't want to let go of each other,
they just stood there clinging to each other knowing that somehow they
needed each other.
When the reception was over she walked home, being glad to come home to an
empty house. When she arrived there she found him sitting on her front
step, she was kind of suprised but then again she also wasn't. She knew she
would see him later that night and she guessed they both knew that when
they did they wouldn't be able to control there feelings any longer.
And so it happend, when she saw him on her front step and when he spotted
her walking towards her, they saw in each others eyes what they were
thinking. She walked closer towards him and flew her arms around his neck
crushing her lips upon his taking in as much as she could of him. When she
wanted to pull back he didn't let her and she knew fighting against it
didn't matter. So instead she opend the door and let them both inside. Soon
they found there way to her bedroom and they never broke away from their
kiss filled with passion. When they stumbled into her bedroom they broke
away and they just looked in each others eyes knowing that what they were
about to do was the only right and proper thing.
He lifted her with his strong arms and placed her softly on her bed while
he placed himself above her. They spent the whole night re-exploring each
others bodies and it was many hours later when they lay in each others
arms, neither of them speaking, they just listened to each others breathing
and they both thought it was the most comforting sound they had ever heard.
She knew that this time he would be gone when she woke up and so she tried
to fight sleep, but she was tired, just so tired and she fell asleep inside
him, knowing that the day after would be different.

When she woke up 2 days ago she knew she was right, he was gone, she did
expect it only she just wished she had been wrong. She wished it so bad but
waking up alone proved her wrong.
When she talked to him a day ago he told her he was sorry for leaving the
way he did but that he couldn't stay cause things would be too akward.
That's the last time she spoke to him and when her boyfriend returned
briefly after that, she knew she had to put up a serade again. And so she
did, she...they pretended that they didn't know each other, that nothing
ever happend between them, that they were just strangers to each others,
but only they knew there was so much more between them. She didn't know why
she didn't cut things off with her boyfriend right there and then. She
would've given her life to him when she found him on her door step those
nights ago.
She knew he was leaving anytime soon and she knew they had to talk things
through, but she didn't know how, when or where. She did try but it seemed
that everytime she did something came between it and she told him she would
say it later, but later never came.
Another week passed by and nobody noticed anything. The fights between the
woman and her boyfriend weren't much worse then usual, besides that
everything seemed to be fine. Her mother was really happy and so was her
husband, his nephew was the one she kept avoiding, they did have some kind
of communication but she didn't know how to take it and he didn't know
either.
When he told her he would leave in a couple of days he saw some kind of
hurt in her eyes, and he saw some kind of pleading to make him stay. But he
couldn't do that, he couldn't stay.
He had a life to go back to and that life isn't here with his uncle and the
mysterious woman. He had to go back to his girlfriend, the one he cheated
on...twice.
His body and heart kept longing to the other woman, the one that was out of
his reach, the one that will never become more then a fantasy.
He considered himself lucky, lucky because he did get to touch and taste
her one last time, to keep him going on with his life. That was all that he
needed.
He knew they needed to talk to each other, just to work things through but
the right moment never came, and now it's too late.
