Oliver's Revenge

The Nightmare
Ryan's POV:
The night sky was full of stars. Luke, Seth, and I sat quietly outside the Pool House thinking about our recent problems. Luke was wondering how he could continue his affair with Julie Cooper, Seth worried about how he would get along without Anna's wisdom, and I thought about how much I screwed up my life. How much I wished Theresa hadn't vanished and that Marissa was here right now.
I have so much I need to say to her, I have had to say it for a long time, I just never had the change to think about how to say it. I know she loves me, Summer is right. She hurt me so badly, though. I need to talk to her, tonight. I need to finally figure things out.
"I should head home," Luke had said after he snapped out of his daze.
All I could do was nod my head in agreement with him. Seth on the other hand, "Take it easy, Luke. I know things are really messed up right now, they are for everyone.
Luke just smiled and headed for the driveway. None of us had any idea what time it really was. After Luke started his truck and drove off Seth stood up, "Don't think to hard, Ry."
I just smiled and stood up with him. Seth headed for the house, I headed for the Pool House. Once I heard the door close behind him I realized that I wasn't going to be able to sleep without talking to Marissa, regardless if it's late or not. I grabbed my keys and headed for the Range Rover.
Seth watched me as I drove off. I could see him, but I knew he would cover for me in the end, I didn't give it a second thought. I headed off to Marissa's house. I couldn't wait to see her, I was getting antsy just thinking about it. I couldn't wait.
"Going somewhere?" a voice came from behind me.
Just as I looked behind me to see Oliver sitting in the back seat, I also noticed a police officer on my tail. I tired to slip hints through the lights and my driving that something was wrong.
"Oliver," I said. "Why do you keep doing this to yourself?"
"Doing what?" asked Oliver.
"Destroying your life by doing something stupid," I replied. "You're suppose to be in the hospital."
"I have some unfinished business with you," he replied with a smirk.
At that point I hit the breaks and pulled the car over. Oliver still hadn't noticed the police officer for some reason, I saw him pull over too. I got out of the car and began to walk towards the trees along the road. That's when Oliver hit me.
He punched me in the jaw, dislocating it, "So you think you won her back do you!?!" he shouted at me as I hit the ground.
I tired to get up, but he just kicked me in the ribs. I tired several times, he managed to keep me on the ground till he pulled his knife. I panicked. I tried to stand up, as I did he took the knife and stabbed me in my stomach. I went into shock. Oliver stabbed me four more times before the cop was able to scare him into the trees. I feel to the ground shaking in shock… I couldn't believe that he had attacked me like that… the last thing I remember is thinking, I'm sorry Marissa…
