Oliver's Revenge

Atwood's Surprise

It had been a few weeks since the attack on Ryan. Everyone had been staying at the Cohen's for the entire time. Summer and Marissa had been going shopping with Kirsten and Seth, Luke and Sandy went surfing.

Ryan hadn't left the Pool house since they brought him home. They wouldn't let him get up except for the bathroom. Everyone stayed in the house at night, but every morning he could see Marissa shivering on the couch. Today was no different.

"Marissa?" Ryan whispered softly.

When Marissa didn't respond he decided to get up. He slowly made his way to the couch and amazingly picked her up. He was able to walk her over to the bed and set her down before he collapsed.

As he wrapped her in his blanket and laid her head on his pillow he said, "I'm sorry I put you through all this."

He laid by her for an hour or so. After it got to be lunch, he decided to surprise everyone. He got up again and began to walk to the house. He left Marissa asleep on his bed. He hadn't walked far without Marissa or Kirsten holding him up or anything, but he knew he had to do it.

"God it smells good!" Seth said as he walked into the kitchen.

"And go figure your mother made it!" Sandy said with a chuckle.

"Thanks Mrs. Cohen!" Summer said giving her a hug.

"Thank you for everything Kirsten," Luke said passively.

While everyone had their back to the door, Ryan slipped in, noticing everyone hadn't noticed him he smiled. He could smell the food and his stomach growled.

"What was that?" asked Seth looking around at the others watching Kirsten cook.

Nobody confessed to it. Seth nagged for a moment until Ryan was about ready to speak.

"It was me," is all he said.

Everyone turned around the moment they heard his voice. Kirsten dropped the spoon she was holding. Sandy's eyebrows raised in disbelief and awe. Summer and Seth smiled big and Luke smirked.

"What are you doing?" asked Kirsten, completely shocked that Ryan had made it to the house alone.

"Marissa was sleeping on the couch," Ryan said with a smile, "So I gave her my bed and pillow, and decided to surprise you."

"RYAN!" came a shout from the Pool house.

Marissa came running into the house freaked out from waking up, seeing that Ryan was gone. She ran right past him into the house yelling for everyone. They all just smiled and walked quietly to Marissa, leaving Ryan hidden.

"Ryan's gone!" shouted Marissa in a panic.

"It's alright," said Sandy smiling.

"Why is everyone smiling!?!" asked Marissa freaking out more. "Ryan's gone!"

Ryan figured that they had put Marissa through enough. He walked out from behind the group of people and smiled. "It's alright, I'm right here."

"Oh thank god!" Marissa collapsed into Ryan's arms.

"Surprise," Ryan said to everyone with a smile… and a oops look on his face.

That Night

At the request of Ryan, Summer took Marissa shopping for the day. He wanted to surprise Marissa when she got back home. He had asked Sandy to get him some candles and asked Rosa to fix him a special dinner for two. Marissa would have no idea what he was planning. Marissa's car rolled up at about 6:30.

"Alright, Ryan," said Sandy. "She's here, we're going back into the house. We'll send her out for you."

Ryan smiled at the Cohen's. The had helped him set up the Pool house for this special night. This night would change his life forever. With all that had happened with Oliver and between Marissa… he needed this night to work out right.

After a few moments of waiting, Marissa knocked on the door and walked in. When she saw the candles all over, each one lit, and the table set up for two with dinner on it, she smiled. She wondered why Ryan had done this for her, or even how.

"Hey," Ryan said in his casual way.

"Hey," Marissa replied, still in shock.

"Can we talk for a minute?" asked Ryan quietly.

"Sure," Marissa replied sitting on his bed.

Ryan joined her on the bed, he placed his hand onto of her leg, "I've had to say this since the night Oliver stabbed me. I love you. I want to be with you. The attack an how you stayed by my side proved how much you care and it showed me how much I love you. Will you give me a second chance?"

Marissa began to cry, but for the first time in weeks it was in joy. She grabbed Ryan and hugged him tight. He hugged back, a single tear running down his cheek.

"You don't know how long I've been waiting to her you say that!" Marissa said happily,

Ryan kissed her softly on the lips. Marissa wrapped her arms around Ryan's neck and kissed him. They ate dinner and spent the rest of the night together. Ryan had finally found the happiness he lost, and Marissa had found the one she loved… again.

During Ryan and Marissa's night, outside the Pool House

"I can't believe she's doing that with him!" said Oliver to himself as he peered into the window.

He turned around and began walking away. He was furious that the girl that he loved enough to kill himself for was hanging all over the Chino boy. His blood began to boil. He slipped away from everyone and left back to his little hide out. He found a piece of paper and a pin. He slashed his finger enough that it bled. He began to write a letter to Ryan and Marissa.

"Soon, they will feel what I feel!" shouted Oliver evilly. "I will make them feel the pain and hurt that I've felt all this time! They will regret EVER throwing me into a hospital!!!! HAHAHA!!!!"
