The O.C.

Oliver's Revenge

By: Nakeru

The Party

It had been a month since Oliver attacked Ryan. He had not been caught, but not seen in Newport either. The Cohen's were especially happy because that meant Ryan could go out and do things now.

It was 7:00 in the morning. Kirsten made rounds to the different rooms to wake everyone up to go to a karaoke bar in Newport that had just opened up. She wanted to take them on the town today.

She knocked on Seth's door and barged in. She saw his clothes lying all over the floor, then she realized they weren't just his. She looked at the bed and saw Seth and Summer laying together, Summer locked between her son's arms.

"Oh, God…" she said as the two shifted as the became awake.

"Mom…?" asked Seth still mostly asleep.

"I'm so sorry, Seth!" she said as she backed out of the room and closed the door.

Summer giggled from under the covers, "Well, we don't have to tell her anymore."

"Ha ha," Seth said sarcastically, "Just what I needed to start my day!"

Summer grabbed Seth and kissed him. They both got up and got dressed. Seth fixed breakfast for Summer as a surprise and then get ready to go with Kirsten. Kirsten on the other hand, was about to make the same mistake twice.

Ryan shifted in his sleep. He slowly came two and realized that he was holding Marissa. He smiled to himself as he watched her sleep. It was like watching an angel from close up, he could never have enough.

Kirsten knocked at the door, and barged in. "Ryan, time to…"

Before Kirsten could shout she was sorry, Ryan got up, only in his boxers and hurried Kirsten outside.

"She's still asleep," Ryan said.

"I'm so sorry, Ryan!" said Kirsten apologetically.

"For what? It's not like…" Ryan's voice trailed off.

Kirsten just looked at Ryan, he got the picture. He went back into the Pool house and woke Marissa up.

"Hey," Ryan said as he kissed her forehead.

Marissa slowly opened her eyes and smiled. "Hey."

"Come on," Said Ryan tossing her some of her clothes. "Kirsten wants to take us out today."

"Awesome!" said Marissa with a smile. "But I don't want these clothes!"

Ryan looked at Marissa for a moment, "I can get you different ones."

Marissa got up and walked over to Ryan's clothes, she picked out one if his wife beaters. "Throw me my jeans!"

She put on the beater and the jeans and smiled. Ryan chuckled at how she looked. He walked over and gave her a hug. They both made their way to the house for breakfast. They knew this day was going to be fantastic.

That Night:

Luke, Ryan, Summer, Seth, Marissa, Sandy, and Kirsten walked into the new Karaoke bar. They couldn't believe how many people were there. Summer and Marissa freaked at seeing a lot of their old friends. Seth and Ryan just exchanged the "oh boy!" look. Everyone made their way to a table and sat down.

"Look at all the people!" shouted Sandy over the noise.

"This is a great place!" Kirsten yelled back at Sandy.

Marissa, Summer, Luke, and Seth just sat there looking around. They saw many people from school. They couldn't believe that it was so packed. Ryan was too busy debating something.

"If you wish to sing tonight, please make your way to the back!" a person said over a mic.

"Thank god no one at the table heard that!" said Ryan to himself as he got up and vanished.

"Where's he going?" asked Seth.

"I don't know," replied Marissa. "He'll be back!"

One Hour Later

The man introducing the people singing finally announced, "There are only four more people here to sing for you tonight!"

Everyone cheered and threw up their glasses. Marissa was getting worried. She hadn't seen Ryan for an hour, matter of fact, no one had.

"Do you think he's alright?" asked Marissa.

"He's alright," said Sandy. "If he doesn't show up by the last person to sing, we'll go look for him!"

Marissa just sat and looked in her glass. One person sang, then another. The third sang two songs… the crowd cheered. She was really beginning to worry.

The announcer walked up to the crowd with a smile. "The last person singing for you this evening is… RYAN ATWOOD!"

The entire crowd went dead silent. Not one person could believe that the announcer had said Ryan's name. Seth poked his head up at the name, Marissa was shocked. There he was, Ryan Atwood, walking onto the stage.

The Music Began:

"He was killed by a cellular phone explosion They scattered his ashes across the ocean The water was used to make baby lotion The wheels of promotion were set into motion"

The crowd began to cheer. They loved Ryan's singing and he had only started.

"But the sun still shines in the summer time

I'll be yours if you'll be mine

I tried to change but I changed my mind

Think I'll have another glass of Mexican wine"

As the rock music kicked up the crowd went wild. They loved every minute of it. Sandy and Kirsten sat in shock as the, non-talkative, Ryan was now singing on a stage in front of over two hundred people.

After the song was over everyone screamed for Ryan! They loved it. Marissa made her way to the stage followed by Seth, Luke, and Summer. They were cheering for him to, if only everyone knew.

"I asked the announcer back stage if I could sing one more song," said Ryan shyly. "But first I need Marissa Cooper to join me on the stage."

All the girls screamed as they heard the news. Marissa was in such awe that Seth and Luke lifted her onto the stage. Ryan smiled and kissed her on the lips once. "This one is for you." he said smiling.

All I am, all I'll be

Everything in this world, all that I'll ever need

Is in your eyes, shining at me

When you smile I can feel, all my passion unfolding

Your hand brushes mine

And a thousand sensations seduce me 'cause I,

Marissa was so over whelmed. The man she loved, the one who had once been a thug in Chino, was now the exact opposite, and her true love. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she was sang to. She just couldn't believe it.

I do, cherish you

For the rest of my life

you don't have to think twice

I will, love you still

From the depths of my soul, it's beyond my control

I've waited so long to say this to you

If you're asking do I love you this much

I do

In my world, before you

I lived outside my emotions, didn't know where I was going

'til that day, I found you

how you opened my life to a new paradise

In a world torn by change

Still with all of my heart until my dying day

I do, cherish you

For the rest of my life

you don't have to think twice

I will, love you still

From the depths of my soul, it's beyond my control

I've waited so long to say this to you

If you're asking do I love you this much

I do

If you're asking do I love you this much

I do, oh, I do

At the end of the song, he grabbed Marissa by her waist, pulled her close to him and gave her the biggest kiss of her life. She was in heaven. She now truly knew how much Ryan loved her. She could never doubt him again… she never had.

"I love you so much Ryan!" whispered Marissa into his ear.

He pulled her as close as he could and smiled, "You have no idea Marissa Cooper."

That's it! What did you think!?! Review and tell me what you think. Got any ideas for new chapters just let me know! Thanks again!
