Dear Alexis,

Ok ex-wife of mine, where are you? You have some explaining to do. Why did you leave without telling me you were going? And for that matter, when did you stop trusting me? I had to find out from Ned that you were pregnant. Are you happy, Alexis? That's all I really want to know. However, there is this matter of a reference letter I am supposed to write for one Sonny Corinthos. I think that is pushing things a bit, don't you?

Well, maybe not. I mean the guy has done a complete 180 in just 3 years. Either that, or he's the best actor I have ever seen. Seriously though, I don't mind sharing a few incidents with you pertaining to him. I know I was floored by them and maybe you will be as well. But, then again, I seem to remember you telling me that there really was some worth to him. I guess you're a pretty bright cookie at that. You know, I miss you don't you? Things just haven't been the same around here without you. Skye and I are still together, at least for the moment. I mean she actually trusts me this week. We'll see how next week goes when it gets here. Will I see you anytime soon?

Oh yea, I am supposed to be telling you about Sonny, right? Do you know he actually calls me by my name now? The first time he did it I nearly fell out in the floor laughing. It sounded so strange coming out of his mouth. That was the day he called to invite me to lunch. I still have trouble believing he did it, but I have a few of his casinos now as proof. It seems he was on a mission to liquidate most of his assets.

Get this, I agree to join him for lunch and when I arrive at his table at the Grille, the man stands up and offers me his hand to shake. What did you do to him? We sit down and the first thing he says is, "Do you think we can put the past behind us and leave it there?" You could have knocked me over with a pen. But, he didn't stop there, I guess he really wanted to see my tongue on the floor because the next thing out of his mouth sent me running for cover. I thought lightening was fixing to strike. He said, "Whether you agree to or not, for me it's over. We start fresh today without a past. I have a few casinos I would like to get rid of at a very lucrative cost to the buyer. Would you be interested?" That was a little over a year ago and my investment has already tripled. He was straight up and honest about the whole thing.

I'll leave the most astonishing thing he did for Ned to tell you. You might want to be sitting down when you read Ned's letter. By the way, how is that daughter of yours doing? I would sure love to see her. I think what I would love to see more than that is my ex-wife as a mother. When are you coming home?

You know, he really has changed. He and I go to the gym together regularly and he hasn't touched a drop of liquor since he was released from jail. Now there was a mess. But, Bobbie Spencer took real good care of him. She has stayed by him and supported him any way she could hoping that it would make up for what Carly put him through. She and Michael visit Sonny almost every day. Ned, Taggert and Bobbie have left it to me to tell you what happened to Carly. You know Bobbie loved her, she stood by her and supported her ever since she came to Port Charles. But, when Bobbie found out what she had done to Sonny and the way she treated you, well, Bobbie came down on her pretty hard and Carly walked out on her and never spoke to her again. About a year later she went to the club as she did every evening and that was the last we saw of her. Someone threw a lit cigarette into the trash in the restroom and the club burned down. Carly didn't make it out. Bobbie was pretty torn up about it all. She felt somehow responsible since they fought the last time she saw her.

It was Sonny that helped get Bobbie through it. He was great with her. He started spending a lot of time with her and Michael. He did not insist on full custody of Michael because he figured Bobbie needed Michael at that time more than he did. So they have shared him.

Ok, is that enough to convince you to come home? Or must I actually say the words I know you're waiting for. You're gonna make me say them, aren't you? Ok, you win. He's a good man. He has turned his life around and Port Charles has greatly benefited from his exiting the 'mob world'. There are you satisfied now? Will you please come home?

Seriously Alexis, every man deserves a second chance to right the wrongs he's committed. Sonny has made incredible progress in making right a lot of the damage he caused to the people of Port Charles. He is still looking for ways to redeem himself. He needs you now. (I don't believe I just said that.) Come home Alexis, it's time. You deserve to see the man he is now. His child deserves the chance to know him.

Still your favorite and only ex-husband,

Jax
