I'll Hold You Tight

Haruno Sakura held her teddy bear tightly to her chest. Today Naruto brought Sasuke back to the village, he did his best...But Sasuke was in a body bag when he returned.
A tear slid down Sakura's porcelain cheek.
She had always liked Sasuke, ever since she was very young. She would have done anything to get his attention and affections. She was so very happy when she found out he would be in her cell division. She was so happy that time he trained with her. She thought that maybe he liked her in return.
Another tear slid down silently.
No one would know how he really felt though, would they? Sakura would never know the truth. She squeezed the bear tightly as a sob escaped her throat. She remembered the first time she thought Sasuke had died, she couldn't stop crying until she found out he was really fine, that he lived through the pain! She was so proud that her crush was so strong, never showing any weakness! She felt like the luckiest girl alive! She was close to Uchiha Sasuke in some way, and no other girl was!
She cried over her stupidity.
She really was stupid then. Thinking all that mattered was getting Sasuke to love her, though she never once thought about how he must feel about her pestering. No wonder he never told her how he felt, she wouldn't give him the chance!
All she ever wanted to do was hold him tightly, when she learned about his tragic past. He just wouldn't let her, he wouldn't open up to anyone. No one got to truely understand what he was going through.
Sakura loosened her grip on the stuffed bear. Crying wouldn't bring her love back, it wouldn't make anything any better. If Sasuke were here, he'd tell her how pathetic and weak she was. She smiled sadly. Maybe she knew how he felt about her, after all.
Even if it was true, that he had no romantic feelings for her, if he were still alive, still she would hold him tight.
"I...I love you, Sasuke...And...Forever I will hold you tightly, in my heart."
