Footsteps could be heard then they halted to a stop. The person had slowly opened the door and made their way to a brunette haired girl with a spear in her hand. Then the person took a deep breath and shout, "WAKE UP!"
"YAA!! Who goes THERE!!"
"Ha, that's for sleeping on the job," said a feminine voice. "Grrrrrrrrr! I'll get you for this, Nika."
"Yeah, that's what they ALL say." The girl named Nika spoke. Then a figure came behind the quarrelling girls.
"What do you think you two are doing?" Said a girl with orange reddish hair and pale green eyes. "Ahhh...nothing, Iyuku" said Nika with a surprised/shocked voice.
"Whatever" said Iyuku rolling her eyes in sheer boredom. Then a grinning girl came right behind the red haired girl called, Iyuku. "Hey freak!" said a wolf demon girl with blond hair "Yeah, I'm talking to you!" Then Iyuku turned around and came face to face with her old enemy, Tarica.
"What do you want Tarica!" said Iyuku. "Oh, nothing really. Just came to tell you that you won't be leader very soon." Tarica had a sneer on her face while she said the last words of her sentence. Iyuku could see the sneer and knew that Tarica wanted it to be seen.
A/N: Iyuku Tenshi was the leader of the White Wolf clan. It was in her bloodline to be leader. Tarica was just a peasant white wolf. She was an orphan and was adopted by Ganglion. Ganglion was a rough man. He knew Iyuku's father very well. Ganglion hated Iyuku's father for many years. So one day he swore that the Tenshis' would be thrown of their throne, and live on the streets as beggars. So, he used Tarica. Ganglion trained her hard and long. But no matter the circumstance, Iyuku's training was far stronger than his. So for years he has tried to get the throne but he never succeeded.
"What do you mean?" Iyuku asked confused. Many times Tarica tried to steal her throne but it never worked.
"You know, what I mean"! said Tarica with an angered voice. Then Iyuku left without saying looking back, leaving a very smug looking Tarica. Iyuku finally got to the her hut and sat down. "Listen up. I'm going on a break, ok." Nika stepped forward. "Ok, Iyuku.But are you going to be alright." Iyuku stood up and grabbed her bag, with a short smile she replied yes. Iyuku walked towards the door and she turned around, smiled once again and said, "Nika, your in charge until I come back, ok." Nika nodded her head slowly then Iyuku started to walk forward again, but this time didn't look back.
~*~*~Meanwhile with the Yasha gang~*~*~
Everything was going all right, until Inuyasha spoke. "Someone is coming right at us." * * Sniff, sniff * Inuyasha took a minute to sniff the air and then he said in a low, dangerous voice. "It smells like a demon." Everyone was in shock. A dead silence rose between the gang. Then Kagome broke the silence. "A demon."
"Yeah. A demon", said Inuyasha head rose searching the scent. Without another thought, Inuyasha ran in the direction the scent was strongest, ignoring Kagome's shouts and Miroku's threats.
~*~*~Back to Iyuku~*~*~
Iyuku jumped from tree to tree and had started to jump to another when she bumped into a certain silver-haired hanyou.
