Only ever rains in the puddles.

"Mommy" a small blue hared girl looked away from the kitchen window. The room was dim the only light came from the den across the hall were there was a single lamp lying in the middle of the room amongst smashed glass and furniture. Back in the kitchen a young slim woman sat with her head in her hands her long brown hair hung round her face she looked over at the small girl and forced a smile tears running down her already tear stained face. "...Yes honey" she spoke softly. The girl stared back out of the window were rain pored down. She was concentrating on the puddles as rain drops hit there watery surfaces small ringlets rippled over the water bouncing off of each other as more rain fell she turned back to her mother with a innocent smile. "Mommy... why dose it only ever rain in the puddles?" the women couldn't help but smile at her daughters question. "You know honey I don't know the answer to that" she smiled She held out her arms to her daughter gesturing for a hug. The small girl skipped away from the window to her mother's arms. The women pulled her daughter close smelling her soft strawberry sent her daughters life was so simple. She was so glad her little girl wasn't old enough to understand what was going on around her. she looked around at her expensive kitchen cupboards were broken, plates were smashed. Draws were on the floor. "Dose daddy know the answer?" the small girl asked quietly. Tears started running down her face once again "I don't know Hun...".thlittle girl looked at her mothers eyes and smiled "don't cry mommy we can ask him when he comes back...he is comeback isn't he mommy? He only went to go get some glue to stick the stuff he broke back together... he has mommy that's where he's gone..."

It was a cold winter night in Russia a young girl about 16 sat in the snow outside an old abby. She was falling of to sleep under a piece of damp cardboard snow fell around her. The gate behind her creaked open she turned she around quickly a man with a long dark coat stood looking down at her his face was covered in shadows. "Are you ok miss...?" she spoke with a deep but kind voice. "I'm f..ff..fine just a bit c..c.old" she reassured him shaking. he moved forward in to a beam of light coming from a near bye street lamp. As he came in to focus the girl noticed he had purple hair and a kind looking face. He stood and studied the girl before smiling "if you have no where to go tonight you could stay at the abby weave got plenty of room." he asked putting his hands in is pockets for warmth. The girl looked at him nervously "um...I don't know ...are you shore I wont be any trouble..?" the man laughed "no trouble at all" he said smiling again. The girl stood up looking very wet "thank you so much you don't know how much this means to me." She said, as they walked towards the abby entrance "well we can't have a nice girl like you freezing to death on the streets now can we.....by the way call me Boris."...
