Chapter One
It was late and Jean, Scott and Logan were sitting in the study having a cup of tea, when they heard the car turn into the drive, the students were either in bed or in their common room, so the three adults had the study to themselves and had been awaiting the arrival of Professor Xavier and Ororo, or Storm as she was known by adults and students alike.
The couple, both smiling, entered the mansion and were met by the three adults who had come out of the study to ask all about their night, they answered all the questions, then Storm excused herself after giving Charles a hug, and went to her room. She found she was not alone, sitting on her bed was...Mystique, who I will say had a very nasty and cunning smile upon her blue features.
"Well, well if it isn't Storm" said Mystique "the apple of Charles's eye", Storm blushed slightly then getting a handle on her emotions asked "what are you doing here?" Mystique just smiled and said "Magneto wanted me to bring you to him...for his little plan". Storm wasn't sure she liked the sound of this plan, being Magneto it would be something horrid, she wasn't sure she wanted to know what it was either.
Mystique whistled slowly but quietly and soon she was joined by a couple more of Magneto's men, and Storm was grabbed and taken from her room.
When they got her back to Magneto's hideout Mystique went to tell him they had her, "Excellent" he said "Now my plan can be put in action, once Charles finds her gone, he will naturally want to come find her", he said this with a bit of malice in his voice, he also laughed a little.
Magneto's plan was to get the Professor to come to find her, where he too would be held, this would make his 'little' helpers come for him and Storm, when they did, they would find they were not going to leave without a fight.
Jean headed to her own room, this wasn't far from Storm's room, so she decided to check on her friend, she knocked gently, then getting no responce, she peeked into the room, to discover the bed unslept in, empty and the window open, remembering Storm said she was going to bed, Jean knew she would most likely still be awake so found it strange that she wasn't there "something is seriously not right" she thought.
Jean went back down stairs and deciding not to alert the Professor just yet, she went to find Scott and Logan, "Ororo's not in her room" she told them quietly, "the bed looks made like this morning and the windows open", this made Scott and Logan, otherwise known as Cyclops and Wolverine, look at each other with questioning looks.
"Whatever you do, do not tell Charles just yet" said Cyclops, "lets see if we can locate her first", the other two agreed and went to talk outside about suggestions on finding Storm.
Meanwhile the professor had decided he too will go to his bed, his room was right next door to storms, Jean heard him go "ok any ideas?" she asked quickly sending a mind message to Charles to say that Storm was sleeping peacefully last time she looked.
